Heh, new story I'm working on. Anime based (all the characters and such are). Anyways I've got some notes scribbled down, here's what I've got so far:

Viral Apocalypse

Summary:
in the future, when everything is ran off of computers and at birth humans have chips implented in them for identification, locating, etc. (a classic futuristic thing), and a doctor creates a virus and implents it in an android that passes off as a living human working for the government agency and it infects the computers and a lot of Earth's population through the CIA's computers via satellite. So yeah then you have two rogue heroes whose business has been screwed with because of this (normally outlaws) so the underdogs decide to hunt down the virus and its creator Julian. However the government is secretly instigating everything and letting the virus infect the people so it can have complete control of the human race. There are few religious people left as there was life found on mars therfore causing the bible to be abandoned and a mass suicide rate to develop because of various religous people who couldn't stand their life's faith being brushed away in an instant. The remaining religous people live on the DeHerritanial, a sanctum island that somehow floats aloft in the sky above the clouds.

Julian (What can I say, it seemed like a good name for a mysterious, genius villain, and no, I'm not sucking up to DW Admin, heh. Creator of Xademnitus)
Tristan (Julian's lead researcher, madman)
Xademnitus (The Virus, demn from indemnity = immunity, used in the name as in it is the immunity to all humans, or, the cure)

Eccentia (earth capital city, Eccen from Essence = Life Force)
DeHerritanial (island, Herrita from Herritance = Place of Birth)
Necdeterotian (waste land, Detir from Deteriorate = decaying, Nec from Necro = dead)
Twilight City (city just on the edge of Necdeterotian)



There'll probably be more later, this is just a vague idea of what its gonna be like.
