Apparently the crappy ass Emo shitfest known as AFI has covered nine inch nail's Head Like a Hole. Wtf is this shit? It's a fucking disgrace. On a not so bad note, apparently KoRn is doing a cover of HLAH on their "Greatest Hits" cd due out this fall (great timing, Manson is coming out with one too), but let's add more fun to the mix, they're going to cover, guess... Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd. Jesus fucking christ. I used to like Korn and am interested in what the HLAH cover will turn out like but the fact that AFI and their shitty singer whose voice is squeakier than most pop-bands left covered it pisses me the fuck off.

We're all entitled to our opinions. You're entitled to express your outrage that some pop band covered "your" pop band's masterpiece of a song. I'm entitled to say explain I think said song is shit.

how about you cool off? he's not trolling you, he's posting a thought-out opinion, that's what the blogs comments are for.
really, it's not like there's any great disrespect being committed here. afi are not 'biting off more than they can chew' with head like a hole. it was never an important or groundbreaking song to anyone but the dingbats who think trent reznor created all that is industrial music. besides, there's already an abundance of nine inch nails tribute albums full of sub-par cover versions.
