Yeah, sorry @DoomKnight1984, but the way I see it, there's no reason for you to play the victim card, because we evil people didn't take your status update at "face value". Here's what you said:

No context given. All you say is, they're pretty (As if that was all that matters, but hey), and that you'd like to marry one without the gold-digging tendencies.

That update, at face value, was crap, as has been evidenced by the overwhelmingly negative reactions you reeled in. It was objectively crap, deal with it. To top it off, you didn't even bother to try and clear things. And don't you get any funny ideas like blaming others for that.

Might be that some people are simply oversensitive, but when 4 out 5 people react in a negative way to what you said, there can be no shadow of a doubt that you bollocksed it up in the first place.

See here's the thing: We all have such tendencies (whether good or evil), it's up to us to make those decisions as adults.

To me, the context of what I said would make the same thing if I said "...without the asshole/henpekker" tendencies. If I said that many of my people are a bunch of butthurts, that would make sense as well, come to think of it. The meaning is the same thing as when a woman says "I wish I can marry a man who doesn't have two-timer tendencies." 

And the thing where I didn't retort...that was given. No one would believe my defenses anyway if I said that was sarcastic since some people can't detect that and I can understand why.

So to make everyone happy, my next post like that will have a smiling hashtag that says "#sarcasm :)" Or maybe not everyone will be happy. Either way, I don't want to talk about this issue anymore.  

What's a gold-digger anyway? Nothing to do with the metal, I assume?
