    YouTube is removing dislikes.

Boy you know what grinds my gears? That dang cancel culture! If only there was something these tech companies could do about these masses of people expressing there dislike of something.

Rich “Lowtax” Kyanka has passed away.

I feel... Is that that dril tweet about speeding a 'mood'? That's what I feel.

Spooktober - Spooky Doom Wads And Other Media

Lost in Vivo Rescue your dog who fell into a storm drain! First Person Silent Hill vibes, dev went on to work on a number of the Dread X Collection games, which would also be a good choice for spooky month.

What are the best and worst parts about Postal 2?

Worst Parts: Best Parts: If you modded postal dude to be a fully voiced Rick Sanchez in Joker make up it would be a satirical masterpiece.
  6. This has two of my favorite things in indy games: taking some ideas from a bad 90's game and making them good (witchhaven) and digitized photos of people in costumes turned into sprites <3

What fictional dystopia would you want to live in?

One of those 'dystopias' where the slightly less right wing party gets in that political cartoonists draw.

    Your opinion on Twitter?

Fucking Terrible. I will never log off.

    Quake Remastered

Problby a reaction to the Satanic Panic still well underway even in the 90s.
  10. It was actually made for Duke Nukem 3D. You can get the stand alone on steam.
  11. I always personally felt that in some ways OG Unreal would have made a good RPG setting, but it was all about showing off that sweet tech and an FPS was how you did it in the mid to late 90's.

why would someone defend a CEO?

As a terminally online Australian I do keep getting surprised by how superficial a lot of my countryman's understanding of US politics really is despite being saturated in American culture, and literately think the only real problem the yanks have is they haven't banned guns. Also an Australian who is a Republican and thinks Liberals are ruining the country is almost the opposite an American who is a Republican and thinks Liberals are ruining the country.

Which is better? Cats or Dogs?

If I got to choose I'm going with woofers, but I do get the appeal of kitty cats.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chernobyl Official Gameplay Trailer

Memories of the Zone is mostly a set of bug fixes from the STALKER reclamation project (which, among other things, re-enables the bugged out nighttime music which includes some of my personal favorite tracks) along with Call of Pripyat's extra visual effects, HD textures and models. Hightly recommend for both first time players and STALKER veterans looking for an excuse to give Shadows of Chernobyl another run.

    Install Hideous Destructor?

[Wolfenstein: Blade of Agony] Achievement Ideas? (p13)

I want to argue, because the site it's self has improved, and is one of the better places to discuss games imo, but I keep meeting SA's bastard children.

    What happens when we die?

Our monke brains hallucinate that we are separate from the rest of creation which is handy for keeping our monke bodies in once peace long enough to find food and reproduce and make doom wads but it *IS* a hallucination, so when our brains stop being able to maintain it, we will return. I mean, that's where I've landed, but I hold out hope for a post death behind the scenes special where I could ask some question about things: What psychological ailments did I have, What happened at historical event X, What would have happened if I had done X ect.

How would you want a future Quake title to look and play?

Honestly I'm so thirsty for more Quake 1 that a full game length Shambler's Castle will make me weep with joy.
  20. From the future huh? It looks more like the kind of thing written under %90 of facebook comment sections. Look, I'm not going to do what I assume is USSR apologia but I've got some real bad news for you if you think state sanctioned murder is exclusively a commie thing sorry.

    Compound Fracture [Dino Crisis FPS]

There sure was. Civvie even did a review of it It was actually a pretty interesting game, it had a save system similar to Alien Isolation and you could even use a mouse! Hard as balls though.

Where are my 90s peeps at?

I traded a box full of demo CDs for The Ultimate Doom CD in High School. Still have it to.

Do you know some obscure 1990's PC games?

Robinson's Requiem: A Survival Sim before Survival Sims where a thing: You got to manage Thirst, hunger, sleep and a host of possible diseases and injuries in your bid to escape a planet of Tigers, Giant Birds, Gian spiders, Dinosaurs, Lizard men, Rock ape things and Centaurs. The treatment system was pretty detailed to the point that you could surgically remove all of your limbs. Very Steep learning curb though, with a basic yet still user unfriendly crafting system. Fascinating bit of video game history though. The 3D engine is something else as well. Looks like ground is made hundreds of sprites? Makes navigation confusing at times but was an interesting way to get more look natural terrain.
