      Sounds like a rock-solid way to end up on people's ignore lists.

       

      There's threads where you can goof around, because that's what they're there for, and there's threads where nobody wants/needs/asks for "funny" comments devoid of actual content.

       

      If you don't know something, that's fine, and nobody with half a brain is gonna make fun of you. But if you don't know things, and try to hide it behind being "funny", people will be inclined to take you less seriously than they otherwise would, and that can end in ignores.

       

      Why would you care who reads your comments and who doesn't? Because chances are those people who chose to not bother with "funny" comments like those anymore, might be the ones who have an answer to a pressing question of yours.
