I'm still relatively new to the Doom community, so I keep hearing names of important people that I don't know.
I think the only one I know is ZeroMaster. Could someone please tell me who are some of the most known people in Doomworld (and why are they so important) so I can stop feeling like a miserable ignorant?

to be serious i've been a doom fan since like 2013 and i still know pretty much nothing about the big names in the community, i mean i've never even finished a fan-made wad. i just like the games, they're fun, that's all i need. don't feel like you need to know everything just to be a "real" fan. although if you wanna know more, there's nothing wrong with that either.
