I love adult life, personally. I wouldn't trade it to go back to being a bullied middle schooler or an awkward niceguy asshole high schooler. So many things have happened in my life since I finished school, and they've all changed me and my outlook for the better.

Sure, there are things about those times that I miss -- more "freedom" and free time, less responsibilities, more time for games and movies etc. I still make time for those things though, just less. Having my own life and being independent from my parents' finances and political views has helped me discover my true self and pave my own little way in this world, all while being able to appreciate my family without being controlled by them anymore.

I can call my dad on the phone and have a nice conversation with him now without having to be oppressed by his Limbaugh blaring throughout the whole house anymore. I can listen to my music as loud as I want in my home office while doing my taxes. I can vote Democrat and not feel like I'm disappointing my parents. I don't have to watch Fox & Friends in the morning over breakfast anymore. I have a bathroom that isn't completely taken over by my sister's stuff. I can mow my lawn the way I like to. I can park my car at the top of the driveway!

The list goes on. Being a grown up is way better than being a kid.

Nahh adult life and school life is pretty simmiliar (considering that we do push ups in mud while raining in P.E school isn't that cool)

I certainly don't miss being told how to park my car from my childhood.
