Good job. I was trying to study the maps, but I'm way too slow... and I so wanted a better time for pl01... I guess the good side is I have somebody to copy now. Also, want to do a d2all, but judging from my ability, I basically just want it done instead of being quick.

I think something like low 20 should be not hard. The first time I went to the last room, I also pressed the wrong switch, which haunts me so I also took extra time to count again... and this is the first ever time I finish everything the first try. That's never happened, but just as you said, recording a demo for this map is just a hassle. -
TBH, not having exception is the point here. I don't mind the final outcome is the strict rule or whatever. Not runnable is another thing rather than exception. Some of the maps are just not max-able nor pacifist-able. Those are just fine.

Froad (:P) Map32 UV Speed in 0:27.66 (or Frog and Toad if you prefer) ft32-027.zip @Lucky_Edie is the man because I just copied pasted the second jump. Without his demo, this demo won't exist. That's it. I pressed the wrong switch the first time I got to the exit room, so I took extra time to make sure I got the correct one. For whoever wants to actually play/record this map, read the text file for your own and your PC's safety. -
Isn't this normal if you stand in the dead center of the missile circle? As it can only turn that many degrees.

Oh, I changed my previous post a little bit. Well, I cheated in many ways, including watching your demo, so I didn't feel like I beat it. However honestly though, I probably won't even touch these maps if I'm not doing that 32 y/o Doomer plays 32 Map32s kind of dumb thing. I'm fine with the map design itself, but making it crash is a little bit too far IMO. -

Oh, glad that I didn't actually look at GZDoombuilder and got trolled as I almost did that. I kind of figured that out, but well, if I realize GZDB will crash, I'll probably watch your demo anyway. The thing to me is that I kind of want a more obvious instruction that I'm here to try, not here to look. That would be better. I kind of want to know did he think of anything when he chose 18th row for the switch or something just to make sure that people trying from the front, from the back or from the middle will take that much time or whatever. BTW, tell him to make a map which will crash Eternity Engine and name it "Hello, you on the Eternity Engine" :P -

Oh, I thought my PrBoom+ was broken or something... (as it also breaks 2.5.1.7) At least I used Eternity Engine to get around this, or I'll never finish the map. The video itself is not fun... so probably just skip around. Like I took like 30 minutes to look for the correct switch. -

Doom burnout - does this happen to anyone else?

Feeling the burnout all the time... Probably I shouldn't set my goal for a certain max run too high... Whenever I got to so close to my goal and I need another week to actually grind for a good enough run is bad, but heh, I did those anyway. -
Personally, I think all categories (maybe except nomo) are more or less this, but I guess that's the *charming* of speedrunning. However, now it's a chance to revise a rule, probably it would be better trying to avoid as much of this as possible? Heh, it's not fun when there's a place where you can only pray when doing Max/Reality either, so I always call these runs stupid, but I kept on doing anyway. Just my 2 cents.

Me neither, that's why I don't think it is good to have an extra category just like this, but in the meantime, I guess some people like to have something for true pacifist way to play it or whatnot. I said that just under the reason of being one direction, but I personally don't really feel it should happen either. I think at most it will fall into the "half meme" way like UV Max/Reality. I recorded a lot of Max/Reality, but in the mean time, I think at most this gets a special marking like that one liner is good enough, or maybe an icon for these feels cleaner, but it does confuse new players from time to time.

I personally think this may not be a constructive opinion, but I'll still put it out here and see. Sometimes, when speedrunning rulesets got changed, the old ruleset will have a something like "classic" ruleset or whatever as a different category. Yes, I totally understand adding a category may be really annoying for Doom, but it could be way, I guess. I guess you can have a general Pacifist ruleset, and a Pacifist (Strict) ruleset where you can't hurt anything, including crusher/teleporter or whatnot, or you can do it the way like Max/Reality does with a one liner additional comment. However, I clearly understand this is not the problem at the first place (the problem was the ambiguity and you need somebody to verify the run), but this may potentially give an idea that somebody really want the strict ruleset of a Pacifist. Therefore, even though having a general or a strict ruleset for each, they must have clean cuts for judgments for sure. For an extended question, all old runs should be classified as general Pacifist by default as the original ruleset is somewhere in the middle. Then later probably somebody really wants to, you can actually run a campaign or whatever to point out the actual fastest Pacifist (Strict) to mark them. Slower ones are probably not meaningful in the first place. On the other hand, using the definition of a word (like Pacifist in this case) to debate whether the category is appropriate is not meaningful at all. Just like people always say without 100% item, it's not a Max or whatever, or even some of the other games with Glitchless category, there are still glitches inside for some reason.

They infight with each other, but Hell Nobles don't infight with each other. You should pay closer attention. -
Oh, I don't know about this, so I think I agree with your saying then. I guess why CN has this ruleset and never touched it is because the WAD choices are very limited. As DSDA takes all type of PWADs, that makes sense.

I guess you can make it something like "you can hurt things which don't increase killcounts (LS excluded)", but TBH, this doesn't really solve the problem as somebody may make a new type of LS or whatever crazy mapping can happen in 2030...

Any untaggable secret is worst, or any secret that is untaggable with normal movement is worst. -
Basically I agree with dew's rule. That's about it. Telefragging is the most problematic one here. Just allow/disallow all of the them in a clean sweep would be good. (I tend to agree with allowing.)
