That is the Original version (2004). Any other version is based on the BFG Edition.

For the controller Issues, I will start investigating them to see what went (or I do) wrong here. For a Classic present, I guess I can try and see if I can make it feasible (no promises). For the typo, you can always contribute changes to the source code on github (especially for the .lang files), but I guess for now I will fix that typo. For the cut-outs, it's probably an issue with OpenAL which I still haven't figure out yet. As for the crash please give more info (as how you did that) and possible a log file (+set logfile 1). Thanks for the Feedback.

Or you can use my source port DOOM BFA, which can do it automatically once you open DOOM 2 (and no, you no longer require to own DOOM 3 BFG Edition or DOOM 3 (2019)).

On the Gate challenge with the marauder I haven't figured out that the makyr drones can be headshoted and pop like piniatas, and it really pissed me off because I was constantly dying.

Are there any commercial-friendly DOOM source ports?
MadGuy replied to SlayerOGames666's topic in Source Ports
If I am not wrong GPL is commercial-friendly as long as the source code is open. And most source ports are licensed under GPL. -
Well for the BFG/2019 Edition they still have the controller layouts and shaders for the other systems (for the shaders applies to some of them) and the original flash light (model, animations and logic) is still there. Of course those are things I have discover and unlock/reuse with my source port. But aside from that I don't know about anything else.
-
But still, Lost Mission & classics are not that big. The possible reason for that is *probably* due to texture resizing and large generated files (for reference DOOM BFA's Classic Edition _common.resources is 5 MB while it's source folder (_common_src) is ~ 400KB).
-
And why they kept it that way ? Don't get me wrong but this sounds like bad weapon switching design all together and at the very least it should be updated to how it works in modern FPS titles.

The aracnotron is evolving to Spider Mastermind xD.
-
And why no one doesn't make a launcher in .NET ? With the mono project (search it on google) you can run windows .NET binaries on linux, which can be quite convinient for it's development.

Close enough, this is the Bethesda.net version (which is the BFG Edition with less than the BFG)

Re-BUMP for a small bugfix with the fullscreen resolution menu on DOOM 3
-
Well, DOOM BFA Support an open source wrapper library to for game APIs. The library have got recently updated in order to allow the usage of rich presence from the API.
-
Not to mention the hidden system requirements for the monitor in both BFG and 2019. Your monitor must support the following for fullscreen: - 32bpp - 60 or 120 Hz refresh rate - minimum 720 height in resolution
-
BUMP for the new update with new fullscreen & framerate/refreshrate code plus translations for all the additional string in DOOM 3
-
maps-5.68 GB sounds-181 MB video-99,3 MB
-
And here is for 2019 P.S.: I think I have added the renderprogs folder
-
Well it's for BFG but since the file structure and formats are the same here:
-
You know in the final levels of DOOM 3 they kinda hint quite much the lore that have been in Eternal (ancient civilization, war with the demons and of course the existence of the DOOM guy)
-
I just geting older every year.
-
Ok then, as for the question, the console was in general allowing you to not only add cheats but also change cvars on the fly, and it quite a bummer that they disabled the launch argument in order to activate it.
-
Not a sin (and I don't recall using that term), just a feature that once existed in previous releases (2004,BFG) and is not available in that version
-
Nope, it instead supports the newest BFG-based Re-release (2019) that is available on the Bethesda.net. When it mentions DOOM 3 it means either the BFG itself or the 2019 re-release. The section that says DOOM 3 BFG Edition it's actually for the whole port, classic & 3 included. I guess I should update that. Edit: just renamed the section to DOOM BFA, hopefully this will avoid any confusion
-
Yeah, at this point I belive we have already played it future ultimate re-release, the DEMO.

Beats me, slayer club millestons? It's not like they didn't had a way to disable things like achievements if the console is active or anything like that.
