    Grass 'Em / Grass Out (MAP01) rework. This one hits a bit nice compared to what it replaces.

    Grass Grump Lobby MAP. This map quite literally takes about 10 seconds to beat because it's just a starter map to showcase what the ZONE will look like and once I rework some of the other maps you'll be able to see computer monitor snap shots of the maps in the ZONE in each lobby map (Think of Super Mario 64 where you jump in the picture before playing the level). I will be redoing a fair portion of my maps so I won't have a release for this year as planned :( I want the detailing to be better, yet again.

    Trying something a lil' different here. A layout start to finish upload. Started on graph paper then finally turned into "4 Square".

    ZONE III (Heat Zone) MAP09 (Linear Heat) It turned out a weird map to play.

I have a pWAD that has a heavily modified DEHACKED (.bex DEHEXTRA) file and I run into "Exiting on Signal: signal 11" when I play in 32bit or less, but when I use OPENGL I run into none of these. I suspect it has something to do with too many actions going off at once but I have no clue. EDITED: FIXED!

    This really motivates me to get back at it. Definitely like the QUAKEish Grassy look. Seems as though, hell is about to take over you know.

    Ever occur to you that you basically just made a Plasma Thrower, and it literally looks like you're using a visor to observe the temperature/chemicals in your weapon?

    Overhyped / underrated wads

    Usually in many cases especially with popular/cacoward pWADs there's a .txt readme file that quite clearly indicates from the developer(s): Which Source Ports were tested and which are highly recommended (or even required to run) If gameplay mods are compatible (not uncommon for deHACKED patches to clash with gameplay mods created for ZDOOM ports) What features to not use, or in some cases they're disabled via MAPINFO lump Now imagine designing a pWAD working with Vanilla limits that managed to be around or above the quality of PL2.wad (Plutonia 2) and you receive a good amount of reviews 40-60% of the reviewers/players playing it either with a Vanilla Compatible Source Port such as (Chocolate-DOOM, Crispy DOOM, Eternity Engine, Prboom-Plus, etc) or setting compatibility flags in ZD based ports. They leave mostly positive reviews with justified criticism or some nitpicking and praise such a wad for being so engaging for being limited in mapping dynamics, then all of a sudden the developers are noticing a trend from the 40-60% of the other reviewers/players who talk about balancing issues with enemy placement, level flow, ammunition, and even some map bugs happening ONLY to find out that they're using mods/addons/Ports the team NEVER TESTED, NOR INTENDED to be used when playing the Mapset. They are absolutely justified in saying they're not taking these reviews/criticisms seriously or even outright dismissing them and throwing snark at these reviewers because it's a bit disrespectful. (NOTE: It's not disrespectful to play pWADs the way you want, but when it's clearly designed a certain way, and you leave a questionable review foaming at the mouth because you just did whatever you wanted, expect the developers or other pWAD creators to foam at the mouth).

    Alien Ventonia? I'll sit on this thread for a bit. Maybe in the future I'll create a thread specifically for newer mappers since I really started mapping seriously last year, and in terms of aesthetics I've greatly improved and would like to encourage others. Kinda like a psychological quirk (Newer mappers see other newer mappers progress from when they started themselves and it motivates or sparks an idea in the viewers head).

    It's great to see these before and after posts. Would it be redundant to have a "Remastered/Before & After" thread since we already have this thread and one other to share DOOM pics?

    DOUBLE HOTBOX This turned out wildly different than expected. I initially wanted to make a platforming circuit with a few side rooms here, and there but the weed took me in a different direction.
