After ten years of waiting for him (roughly since this post, or when Lüt told me Static-X were a lousy SYL ripoff) to come to Portugal, a couple of months ago it was announced that the DTP was replacing Nevermore at the Vagos Open Air festival - this Saturday. Venue's 10 km from my mom's, no less.

Heh, deadnail got me hooked on him as well, when he sent me a hard drive with Devy's entire discography on it (along with a lot of other stuff). I had heard some years ago and wasn't impressed, but I gave him a second shot, and soon got hooked on Terria and Ziltoid, listening to them on repeat for hours at a time.

I hated Ziltoid, the only track I liked was Hyperdrive, and I prefer the Addicted remake to that version. Addicted is, IMO, his best album. I don't really like the SYLish type shit he does, I think the hardest track I like of his is Depth Charge, it's a bit more bombastic than I generally prefer, but for some reason I just really dig the hell out of that track. - Show next comments 3 more
