Many WADs have a custom pallette built in, all this means is that the visual color range is changed up. If you are playing the WAD on its own you don't need to do anything but play, but if you try to play it with a gameplay mod that adds new graphics, it could fuck with the new graphics and make them look off, how off they look depends on how much has been altered in the color range. As Yugi said, this shouldn't mess with too much in that regard, but something like Ancient Aliens might make modded graphics look like fruity pebbles, lol

This sounds like a genuinely good idea for a mapping challenge. I personally wouldn't consider MBF21 "The New Standard" just yet, but it's a cool format. Ignore trolls, every post will have them (sometimes...he's me XD).

I play seated and so I usually max out the world scale for height reasons. But yea those other things will definitely need to be disabled, I don't get motion sickness in VR anymore, like, at all, but I can definitely see them being distracting.

Since GZDoomVR recently got updated to the 4.7.1 release I'm gonna check this out in VR very soon, Doom 64 in VR is gonna be a trip!

I've been playing American Truck Simulator in VR for a week straight...or has it been two...maybe. Not a game that sounds like fun to me on paper, but in practice, it's just super relaxing and I can't get enough.

I bought American Truck Simulator and all of it's State and Cargo DLCs on sale last weekend, good purchase, much relaxing fun in VR.
