    I have an issue where if I spend too much time making content for a game, I won't enjoy playing it anymore. It happened when I spent 6 months making a texture overhaul for Skyrim, I never could look at the game the same again, it was like "Well, I've seen you naked now...what more is there?" Lol. I enjoy making Doom maps, but I don't want the same thing to happen, so I go slow with it and make sure I still play Doom more than I create for it. Luckily there's a ton of people who don't have this problem so I have plenty of Doom content to play, thanks for that :)

    The DWmegawad Club plays: Deathless

    E1M7: Larger and somewhat non-linear. I enjoyed the blue circuitry starting room and how I had to loop back to it a couple of times throughout the map. Revisiting previous areas is always a plus. Especially if it's a nice looking area that stands out from other parts of the map. E1M8: My first death(s) of the wad came in the boss encounter here. I would almost call it vanilla mini-slaughter. An enjoyable encounter, but might have been more enjoyable if I disabled infinite height. Those cacos really pinned me down a few times.

    Stupid question about ZDL

    I just save .zdl files, I always use the same settings so .inis aren't necessary. Though, I do often accidentally click save/load ini by mistake...

    I just got to E4 of Deathless and I'm starting the Redemption Denied campaign of Doom 64 Retribution.

    E1M9: I actually didn't realize this was a remake of a Doom II map until later. I recognized the SMM/Cyber platforms as being part of the original map, but the rest of the map seemed new until I played the E2 secret map (which I won't spoil yet) it wasn't until I finished both of them that I realized they were nearly exact remakes of other D2 maps, lol. Maybe it's just been too long since I played vanilla D2.

  14. I like the title change to "Old-school" for the OP. Also, many have noted that the BTSX episodes aren't quite 32 maps, I believe they are in the 25-27 map range, like 25 with 2 secret maps I believe. But I still think they deserve to be here. The feel fully fleshed out and like full on megawads to me, even if they are a few maps short.

    Map Spot Tagging?

    I recently learned how to teleport enemies in from a monster closet, but it seems slow and clumsy, the way your monsters spawn in Retribution seems much nicer. How much more difficult is it to do spawning with ACS?
