    @Spectre01 You may check my fork, fullscreen desktop version, it has the latest changes from the official repositary and fixes an issue in software mode. I don't maintain it though.

    I believe this setting is for capturing video only, not for the actual game rendering. It's located in "Video capture encoding settings" block. So Riva Tuner is still the way to go.

    I believe using Riva Tuner Statistics server is the best bet in this case, native fps cap isn't implemented in glboom+ as far as I know. Since PrBoom+ is still a conservative port that aims for compatibility, such feature is basically considered a cheat (cause it really kinda is, it alters the intended gameplay quite a bit). I'm not sure if the actual vertical aim is an option, it may be among some "bad" compatibility settings, which exist to let you bypass some really broken buggy maps.

    I think I found a desyncing demo: dvii-21-1609-pw.lmp from dvii-1i.zip pack. It desyncs for me after a couple of minutes in both 4.00.00-win32 release and Eternity-4.00.00-218-g4ef5d247 devbuild. Not sure if this demo is exactly complevel 9, although it should be?

    I can point out at least one -cl9 demo that desyncs in Eternity: sunder.wad map14 I know because I use it for benchmarking purposes.

    Yes, I figured that out. I only used project settings from it to fix compilation, the actual source code is retrieved from https://svn.prboom.org/repos/branches/prboom-plus-24/prboom2/ Hence, it's PrBoom-plus 2.5.1.5 r4532 with only a few changes necessary to make fullscreen desktop work (hopefully these changes are sufficient for now). Git repo should be on my TODO list, I guess... EDIT: It is done, here's the GitHub project page. Download links in the previous post are updated! Suggestions are welcome.

    Hello. After a bit of hacking I added fullscreen desktop mode to the latest PrBoom-plus test version (2.5.1.5 r4532). Add -fsdesktop command line argument to enable the feature and select any software fullscreen mode. This doesn't work with OpenGL renderer. Example: prboom-plus.exe -width 320 -height 240 -fullscreen -fsdesktop This way, you should see all the pixels large and sharp with any desktop resolution, just like in Chocolate Doom :D I edited video capture code, so you can also record desktop resolution videos in all the pixelated glory (but it will be SLOW on high res monitors :p) Download the binaries for Windows Vista and higher. Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 is required! Source code Thanks to @Graf Zahl for Visual Studio 2015 project and source cleanup. Hope it will be interesting to somebody! Feedback is appreciated.

    I imagine some resolution scale options would make a few eternity users happier. Prboom+, Zdoom and Choco/Crispy all have resolution scaling, so it's pretty much a standard at this point. Have a lot of money and here you go Be aware though, there are reports that Intel compiler is only optimal for Intel processors (surprise surprise)
