  1. Has anyone ever died in their dreams, and experieced either of the two?

-You begin to drift away and begin to resist, calling out for familly and friends but unable to make a sound, you experience intense fear. You jerk awake.

-You begin to drift away you decide to just go with the flow, the only word you can say is 'bye' but you struggle to make a sound, your body tenses up and there is a roaring and a burning sensation on your skin - intense pain, then there is nothing, you feel alone. You awaken.

Experience anything like this? I've experienced both, what could it mean?
    Which would you prefer?

Well, I do have several of those boomerangs in my room now. I made them myself, they are around a foot and a half in diameter, made of several layers of plywood packed into a quater inch (makes it very tough, but sort of heavy), and they fly quite well up to around 20-25 meters.

Is that 20-25 meters round-trip or is that just one way out? :P

Boomerangs travel in a more or less elliptical pattern (some can fly almost circular patterns though), so that would be how far they go out before returning.
