Yeah, if Nintendo was ever gonna put Doomguy/Doom Slayer into Smash, I would rather have Doomguy, he just fits in more and is more iconic.

No it's not about the stupid red screen. For a long time I've been told by somebody I know that at one point in at least one version of Doom, that the berserk pack used to do a thing that if you had over 100% health the berserk pack would lower your health back to 100%. I've looked through multiple versions of Doom and I can't find if it really exists. Does anybody know if this was a thing? I want to know if they are right or have a false memory, or if maybe there is something similar to this bug that they misremembered as it doing the thing listed above?

I'm a big fan of this one. I really like the small, simple, and linear design with the tight and intense fights. Great job, it gets my approval.

Doom 2 is about as much as a sequel as the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 (lost levels) in that its not really a sequel at all, Doom 2 feels so much like Doom 1 that I cant confidently call it a true sequel, even with the new enemies and SSG.

I'm fine with most gameplay mods, don't really use them. But I despise Brutal Doom.

This looks interesting, I'll post my thoughts when I'm done with the maps.

These maps are certainly maps, it seems like you have a basic idea on how to make a level. But that's about it. It's a good start, but all I can say is that you should give this a read.
