It depends on how you approach Alien Isolation. I sneak alot but my partner guns their way through and we've both finished it a number of times. I like that it accommodates either tactic :)

Whats your favourite music genre?
Space Marinara replied to ReeseJamPiece's topic in Everything Else
I'm not sure what the genre is when you combine an R&B singer, Jazz drummer, Motown bassist/Classical keyboardist and a Blues guitarist, but I like it... -

We Need to Preserve the Vanilla Quake Experience
Space Marinara replied to OpenRift's topic in Everything Else
It is possible to render with tall pixels without changing the aspect of the underlying scene. Doom stretched both together but I don't think Quake did. -
Nah he said "You need a red card to activate this object". Those messages are Doomguy verbalising his inner monologue as his mind spirals down the Daisy hole.

When Doom looks more cartoony than Serious Sam...
Space Marinara replied to Tetzlaff's topic in Doom Eternal
Their proportions are basically the same and the Scrapjack has dark drawn-on shirt creases. I could imagine the mancubus easily blending into it's background because it doesn't look like it has outlines. -
When Doom looks more cartoony than Serious Sam...
Space Marinara replied to Tetzlaff's topic in Doom Eternal
It's not smiling but there's also no aggression coming from it, it just looks like an inert piece of machinery. The Mancubus appears way more spirited to me >:) -

Is the thing on the right a goody or a baddy? I can't tell... -
People's Color Scheme Choice Change In Games...
Space Marinara replied to A Nobody's topic in Everything Else
I think the confusion is over terminology. Which aspect of colour are people refering to: Hue, Saturation or Luminance? My guess is the "We want more colour" people want designers to snap to the base hues like RGYB and the "It's too colourful" people want the saturation kept in check. Those expectations are completely compatible imo and are only a matter of balance. -

What would you think could have a good crossover with Doom?
Space Marinara replied to TheDoomDude's topic in Doom General
Pinkies have Dilophosaur DNA in them already -
Quake single player lives on in DOOM (An observation)
Space Marinara replied to FreakZoneGames's topic in Doom 2016
Anyone else thing that BFG Division sounds alot like Quake 1's title track? I swear I've also heard a brief snippet of that long scream sampled somewhere in Doom 2016's soundtrack. -

I wonder if they'll add an option for the 120% taller pixel aspect too...

I'd say it's the controller that's making them play wonky, that's how I look playing D2016 on an XBox.

I just relistened to At Doom's Gate and it reminds me of Donald Duck laughing slowly. Skipping around the album on youtube and most of the songs just sound like mush to me. The only one that stood out during gameplay was VEGA Core, that one was pretty epic.

I like Hiding the Secrets. It feels the most tech-base to me.

Any possible Doomguy actors of your choice?
Space Marinara replied to ASON-Z-'s topic in Doom General
I think Currie Graham would make a good Doomguy. Here he is as a terminator-zombie-marine in space:
