I didn't even think about that. Agreed! Well it's good too see that I'm far from the only one who thinks that this is a great idea. Honestly I knew it was impossible I was the only one lol. Anyway, here's too hoping that something along these lines is implemented into Eternal. If it does happen I'd be more than happy to play with some of you folks!

Doom 3, as well as Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, may not be my favorite Doom games, but I do still like them. I personally do think it would be cool to get another Doom game similar to 3, but not if it at all interfered with Doom Eternal, or any future Doom games like that. I think it would be OK if we got something similar to Doom 3 from like another developer or something, while ID still works on Eternal and any other future mainline games in the Doom franchise.

So the Gauss Cannon was.... OK I guess. I didn't use it a whole lot really. Something about the Balista seems much more appealing to me.

I think that very cool things could be done with this, if done right. Obviously Doom has never been much in the story department, but I think that with a little effort, especially with the story from the most recent title in 2016, but with a little effort I think some cool things could be done with the story. I think it could be taken to some very cool places. Honestly the guys working on this game just seem like super ID fans, and have a tremendous amount of respect for the games, and source material. I think that they will take it to places we are absolutely not expecting, and take it to places that are very cool, and I can't wait.

I honestly think they may have made him look a little like the predator on purpose, as a nod to classic 80's action movies.

So I personally like game types like Horde in Gears of War, or Zombies in Call of Duty, and I think that something similar to those would be super cool in Doom Eternal. It's very fitting with the style of game Doom is, and it would be incredibly fun to go up against ever harder waves of enemies alone, or with friends. Maybe even add in light base/defense building aspects kind of like in Gears of War 4. Also probably do a boss every ten waves or whatever too. Personally, I love this idea! But what about you guys? What do you think?

Seeing as you're much, much more powerful, and the other humans in that game play you actually come into contact with seem more scared of you than anything, I think it's fine, and fitting. Doesn't bother me.

I remember reading about this the other day, and thinking "huh? for real?", but it looks less like a big deal, and more like very few people trying to act like it's a big deal.

This is like a loss, but not really at the same time. It sucks because SnapMap WAS really cool... when it was actually being used, and used right, however that didn't happen much. I think most people that actually used SnapMap, and used it well, kind of gave up because the market was flooded with garbage usually. I remember having to sort through so much crap just to find one good map all the time.

Yeah I saw this a while back, and considered getting it. I play board/table top games couple times a month with a group of friends, and we kinda need some new games so ehhh probably going to grab it. Even if the game isn't too good it will still be a cool piece for my collection, and the figures are fucking awesome!

Wait is this really a thing? I never heard of or seen this. I'm a huge figure/bust/statue nerd, and this is something that I would simply have to have if it exists!!

So my PC is not really quite up to par to effectively run Doom 2016, so I had to play it on my X Box One. Personally I did not know most of the things on this list I'll link below. It's actually super interesting, and worth a watch for sure if you have a few minutes. My personal favorite thing on the list is the fact that they named it Doom after the scene in the movie "The Color of Money" when Tom Cruise opens the box and tells them it's Doom as he proceeds to dominate them at Pool, and John Carmac wanted it to be similar as in they would dominate the industry! Pretty cool. It would have been very cool to see what they did if they had moved forward with making it a licensed Aliens game, but obviously I'm happy they didn't because we got the beloved franchise we know and love today.
