what do you think the minimum specs are for doom eternal

Either the Nintendo Switch uses more efficient architecture than the other consoles or PC, or they are going to tone it down a little bit in order to get it to run on the Nintendo Switch. Kinda like how they made crappy versions of CoD for the Wii. But not to that extend, thank God.

    "It's too cartoony"

Here's a question: What if they did end up making a cartoony Doom game with cell-shaded graphics?

    Forum Game: Why?

Because I say so and you are a hypocrite. :3 Why hasn't Santa gotten me that Thompson SMG I've been asking for Christmas?

If they succeeded in making the system requirements even lower than Doom 2016, that would be nothing short of a technological miracle.

what do you think the minimum specs are for doom eternal

Well, for Wolfenstein II, which uses the same engine as Doom 2016, we have this: Minimum system requirements: CPU: AMD FX-8350/Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-3570/i7-3770 RAM: 8 GB RAM GPU: Nvidia GTX 770 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better OS: Win7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions) STORAGE: 55 GB available space Recommended: CPU: AMD FX-9370/Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i7-4770 RAM: 16 GB RAM GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB or better OS: Win7, 8.1, or 10 64-Bit Store: 55 GB available space I imagine Doom Eternal is going to be even higher than that.

    Where did you get that?

what do you think the minimum specs are for doom eternal

My laptop is a piece of shit, LOL. I can only run CoD World at War at minimum settings. Hopefully the specs come at the same time I save up enough money for a decent computer.
  8. I never played God Hand, so I cannot say. Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is the best out of the trilogy
  9. Agree. The 2nd Amendment should be absolute: Up to and including civilian ownership of machine guns.

Trying to get Dhewm3 to run in linux

Finally got it to run after purging all copies of Dhewm3 from my system and installed the package. If I knew that there were packages, I would have used them sooner, it's much easier than compiling.

Are you talking about the comments below? The link is just talking about the various Doom 3 source ports that exist. Not necessarily my problem specifically.

Trying to get Dhewm3 to run in linux

Alright, so after a couple of nights of trying, I've finally succeeded in compiling Dhewm3 and getting it to boot up in Ubuntu (18.04). But when I try to start a new game, It comes up with this: ERROR: Function 'map_marscity1::main' not found in script for 'call' key on worldspawn And before then, error messages like this pop up: WARNING: base path '/usr/local/share/dhewm3' does not exist WARNING: file materials/shaderdemo.mtr, line 106: material '_default' previously defined at materials/default.mtr:1 And when I go to multiplayer, the server list is completely empty, whereas on Windows, there's a pretty good chance that I'll see a small handful of people still playing Doom 3 online. So, anyone else face this same problem?

    Getting "broken" WADs to work

So, anyway, how did it work for YOU?

    Getting "broken" WADs to work

Woah, so even Zandronum 3.0 is behind? I just went over to the Zandronum forums to confirm this. This is a bit of a surprise to me, considering that I've had to download the alpha version of Zandronum in order to run Project Brutality or other mods in the past. Guess I gotta go compile that GZDoom engine...
