Actually, map32 isn't terribly difficult. All you really have to do is:

-Sprint ALL the way to the other side of the map and hide in the little two-entrance tunnel. Fire off a shot so ALL the monsters wake up, and wait for the huge huge huge swarms to kill each other before creeping out to snipe at the Arch-Viles on the nearby ledges with rockets. About 400 monsters will kill themselves in this part.

-Clean off the eight platforms and four towers, one quarter of the map at a time, making sure to nail all the Arch-Viles in each part first. The towers are a pain in the ass because Revenants and Barons keep teleporting in on them once you kill the Cyberdemons on top of them.

-Whatever you do, DO NOT go on top of any of the eight platforms until this step is complete! Crossing a linedef at the top of each one, even BEFORE hitting its switch, will open up one of the areas containing more monsters.

-Now, you have two choices here: Either open up each section one at a time by climbing the stairs to the top of each platform one at a time, taking out each horde individually, or cross them all in rapid succession and get some massive monster infighting going while you go back to hiding in the little tunnel.

From that point on it should be fairly simple. This basic strategy is one that cannot be ignored, though.

This one was fun on UV :) I should try the rest of HRII on UV eventually too. :P
