Music that puts you into a good feeling you can't describe?
MannerKing replied to Artman2004's topic in Everything Else
Symphonic Metal music always gives me goosebumps and a chill down my spine. Rhapsody, Avantasia, and Luca Turilli are a few that come to mind. My imagination always goes wild when I listen to this music. Imagining a grand adventure and smiting the dark things of the world with the power of holy light, all the while I'm just doing dishes. Cleaning dinner plates has never been more exciting! -

I will most certainly have to give this trilogy a whirl when I get the chance! -
I've worked on some renders off and on for the past few months. Hope you all enjoy! ==================== Shapes ==================== ==================== Tubular Sunset ==================== ==================== Eye 2 Eye ==================== ==================== Cyber Space ====================

Got MojoWorld working recently and decided to mess around with it for a bit. It's pretty cool the stuff you can do with this software. I will definitely mess around with this some more in the future.

==================== Narrow Sunlight ==================== I saw the LGR video when it came out and I loved it. He mentioned another software called Mojo World. I've always wondered what the software was called that made those renders. Maybe I'll try that software out whenever I get the chance.

I've had Digital Blasphemy bookmarked for a while now, it's a really awesome and tubular website.

==================== Sky Islands ==================== With this one I was trying to capture that same look and feel from that one Unreal level called Na Pali Haven. I think there are definitely some things I need to tweak and improve but I feel as if I am on the right path.

==================== High Peaks ==================== ==================== World Tree ==================== ==================== Mountain Crystal ==================== High Peaks was the last one that I created and I learned a technique from a youtube tutorial called terrain stacking. The idea is that you take multiple of the same terrain, each one at different resolutions and you stack them on top of each other. You then add materials and mess with the lighting to your liking. I will most certainly be experimenting with terrain stacking as time goes on as I like how High Peaks turned out.

I've thought about posting more simple renders, ones that maybe aren't as detailed in terms of the amount of stuff that is in the landscape. Lone Mountain and Sky Lawn are examples I'm thinking of. Something that isn't too crowded or flashy because inevitably the more detail and objects you want the more time it takes to finish the render. Maybe every now and then I'll do a really detailed piece and see what it's like. I'm still learning how to use this software so it will be interesting to see what I learn as time goes on.

==================== Rendered Wonderland ==================== (My apologies for not posting in a while, I've been busy with college. I thought I'd toss in a simple little render here just in time for Christmas. Have fun and Merry Christmas everyone!)

I am currently working on my own map for testing things on and I made some simple textures for it. Custom Target Texture Custom Sign Textures Custom Monster Sign Textures
