    Hey Immorpher, it's been a while! I just found a video of someone playing a custom Prodeus map based on, yes, you guessed it, D64's MAP01.

      This map is awesome! And since it's in Prodeus you can play it in COOP!!

    If you're going to play Doom 64 on N64 I recommend a change in controller to something like the Interact Super Pad 64 and the use of a CRT TV. It makes a big difference in playability. Another alternative is to mod your system to support the Ultra HDMI mod, but that is going to cost you some money, likely more than getting a CRT TV, but the tradeoff is you can use your modern TV instead and get a far clearer image than from RCA when used on a modern TV.

    Hey y'all! I haven't been here in a while! It's nice to come back to 1487 notifications. I saw that some of you were worrying about me, but I'm fine. I just took a break from Doomworld for a while. I played DOOM Zero around Christmas Time, and it was great! Right now I'm back in school, which is the main reason that I left. I won't be posting here often, just stopping in ever so often. I've been messing around with google sites and created a website for the DOOM Comic. My 2nd grade STEM teacher would be so proud. I'll come back again soon. Nice seeing all of your pretty avatars again!

    i totally wanted to wrap up my Europa 2 review so that I could post it for Christmas but if it isn't one baby on my lap then it's the other. I really did work on it recently, tho.

     

    my Lost Levels review is map-complete.

     

    i took the liberty of starting a Beta 64 playthrough awhile ago and it's half map-complete. what i've seen is really good and the first two secret levels that I've played have been brilliant.

     

    i am really excited to see where The UnMaking takes the engine. as I think about it, Absolutely Killed's E1M2 is like as close to a perfect Doom 64 "fun" map as I can remember without it being, you know, an actual Doom 64 level

      The UnMaking is an unique experience for sure! Some really cool stuff in it. I will need to dig down and finish Beta 64 soon. I have started it so many times, but I usually give my wife a break from Doom 64 and play some Quake or something, then I forget about returning to Beta 64.

      Not in its normal settings. There is a mod which enables it though. You still shoot along the 2D plane, but you can freelook.
