Because underwater bases are hard to access. Those pesky medieval heroes didn't have submarines or anything. -

Which Doom monster do you dread the most?

Revenant, because I find hundreds of rockets behind me. Shotgun Guy, because it's attack does 15-45 (mostly 30) and it seems to always hit me on long range even with a miserable spread of 22.5. Chaingun Guy, because one shotgun blast is not enough to kill it and before I reload, it hits me, tho I learned to use Chaingun wisely.
