Well, some mappers prefer more classic mapping approaches and challenge themselves with things that they have in that format and other mappers want have demo compatibility with their maps. Also UDMF stuff is quite wide and have too many options, so it can be another reason why people choose boom or vanilla/limit removing mapping. 

Donut, you keep saying how you can't map or you're incapable of making something good. You simply need to learn some patience; expecting something good immediately is being unrealistic. If you would seriously like to improve, please stop complaining and just get going with it. Don't make excuses, the learning process involves practice and hard work. Also, drawing skills aren't really relevant here, so I'm not sure why you'd bring that up.

I don't know if there's actually a resemblance, but making linedef's remind me of drawing for some reason.

It isn't a symptom of autism. I also have been diagnosed with a whole bunch of other shit that I'd rather not specify. But I say that I'm autistic in public because a lot of my traits are associated with my autism.

What's funny is that I go to the eye doctor once every year to check my eyesight, they always have me read off of a sign that I stand far away from. For some reason, they think I don't need glasses. Sometimes I feel like they're bullshitting me.

Uh, you can actually have a perfectly good eyesight and still "skip" some characters when reading. Happens to me more often than I'd like to admit.

Okay, so I did that and every time I tried signing in, Doomworld just keeps giving me an error. I did find out how to link my Doomworld with Discord, however, and it worked.

Most people get into internetty hobbies such as gaming due to boredom and lack of IRL interactions (I used to be like this and I recognise the same in many people here) 

All of the above reasons you mentioned does not necessarily mean that they are autistic. I'm using autistic to describe myself here, because I was in fact diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when I was 5 years old.

Right now I'm talking primarily because I find self-deprecation frustrating and not at all healthy. I can tell you that much, as I admittedly still do that and used to do so significantly more. It's damaging to yourself and undoubtedly hinders your ability to work and progress. Also, map-making is less about innate "talent" and more about learning, practice, and putting the required time and effort in, as is the same with essentially any creative endeavour. Your early attempts are most likely not going to be good; this is a known fact and is true for about 99% of people, I'd say. You may be "shitting out garbage" as you might think at the moment, but if you work at it, in a year you very well may not. So kindly ease up on the self-deprecation. If you want to improve, work to improve!

But, you CAN be prepared for the next time this happens. If you sign up for "RecoverMy.Video", the next time a video from one of your playlists gets deleted, you'll be able to find out what video got deleted.

Yeah, Blood is probably my favorite old-school FPS (Doom is very close second). Really looking forward to the coming Nightdive's remaster of Blood which will make the game run smoothly on modern systems without the use of DosBox.
