I don't even think it could be done with access to three dozen solar systems. There's a lot less material in this universe than there appears to be. It's a whole lotta nothing. 280 quadrillion square kilometers would require a Hell of a lot of material.

If you made one out of a 1 km-thick shell of solid iron it would require about 2.2e+30 kg of iron, which happens to be slightly more (about 1.1x) than the mass of our own Sun.

Bizarrely, however, it is possible to get such an amount of iron. Large stars can accumulate solid-iron cores of masses up to 1.4 solar masses, i.e. more than enough to build a fictitious Dyson sphere. Of course there's the problem of extracting all that iron while it's within a star, as stars with giant iron cores tend to go supernova, turning all that wonderful iron into, well, all the other heavy elements.

I could tell you after listening to the first 5 seconds of creepy2.mid that it is DEFINITELY not from Hexen.

Iirc Creepy2.mid is from Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat - shitty game but with awesome music. I spent hours just listening to the music on the game cd.
