    Which textures look better?

    Should I use just the textures from Heretic, or should I import Hexen textures? Textures from heretic: Textures from Hexen:

I'm working on a map for Heretic & I put a firemace in the level, but sometimes it doesn't appear when I playtest the map, I placed it right in front of my starting point so I should see it right away, but sometimes (like 1/5 times) it's just not there. Every other item shows up just fine, is this weapon bugged or something?

    A screenshot from my current project "The Toxic Vats" I've been working on it for the past couple weeks a bit each day, How does the glass effect look for the fluid tanks? I want this map to be as good as it can be, including it's visuals.
  4. Thanks for the feedback, I'll update the map & re-upload at a later time Thanks for the feedback, tbh I cringed when I saw the couple texture errors XD, but I'm glad they were brought to light, I will update the map & maybe extend the length.

It's just a single map made using doom builder & a Doom II wad as the base, made for GZdoom, I made a couple textures for the map, one of which you can see in the screenshot below. also the name is vague because I don't know what else to call it. Jumping & crouching is necessary to traverse the ventilation to get to otherwise inaccessible rooms, the demons won't just hand over the keys so you'll have to invite yourself in. also you can use freelook if you want. I appreciate any feedback to help improve. Download: Facility.zip
