Quick side rant about Hardwired.... To Self-Parody - one thing that annoyed the hell out of me was that they had to make it a double album, when it could've easily fit on one CD (it's actually shorter than Load), I bet that was Lars' idea because they just HAD to have a double studio album like Physical Graffiti or The Wall or something like that. Just seemed so arbitrary and unnecessary. Still, it's better than 72 Seasonings

The first part is kinda labby-looking, it's undergoing its transformation into a hellish place, much like the other levels in The Shores Of Hell. Even the place names get corrupted halfway through (Halls Of The Damned, Spawning Vats and shit)

Dammit, I thought we were gonna discuss the lore about what happened to Doomguy between Dooms I and II. I was gonna say he buried Daisy's head after setting fire to the big curvy structure that housed Dis/Unto The Cruel (depending on what you think is canon there), then he dropped all his weapons except for his trusty pistol (it's the only weapon that was truly his, after all), thinking that his part in the war is over - then he jumped the fence of the first building he saw, walked past the chainsaw without noticing it somehow, and went into the entryway....
