Might I ask, what's the capacity of these floppies? I never had a licenced floppy game and wonder did they use standard floppies or are they more or less capacious.

With this logic there should be no discussion ever, only "jawohl". When mappers monetise their hobby it's always a touchy subject, just remember the great evilution debate or skyrim mods fiasko. I think that patreon and other forms of donation are vaible options, but I always feel uneasy about it. Like with the musician playing for tip — this mixed feeling of pity and shame. I'm rather buy a record or a ticket and get a feeling of "pride and accomplishment".

Whose idea it was to kill a sweet innocent bunny? What do you think? My money's on Adrian Carmack (after all, he drew corpses of Commander Keen). I won't be surprised if Daisy was Tom Hall's pet rabbit xD. I looked up the forum, and it seeems this question was raised 11 years ago, but with no fruition. So, any new info? it's like the question you think someone would have asked during an interview... I'm surprised to discover that there's not even a consent about spike/hand on the picture. And one interesting theory states that the strange perspective is due to it being POV shot through Doomguy's visor.

I hate Water Levels as much as the other guy, but, you know, it seems like it should offer some interesting mechanics to play with: oxygen conservation, free 3D movement, underwater streams, things hidden below the surface, temples of long forgotten fish-face-gods, the good stuff. "Ocean Floor" from UT is regarded as a bad level, but I liked it back then and thinking about doing something similiar with the player starting in submarine/sunk ship. Not for Doom, of course, for obvious reasons. -

I didn't know there's no hitscan in Brutal, quite an interesting descision. I myself think that hitscan should be used very sparringly, it requires an intelegent placement from the designer. And there should be no chaingunners. So I hate most of DooM II wads. So it's Doom 1 all the way, but with jumping and mouselook. Seriously, you should be able to jump in any action game. It doesn't need to be functional, it's just a very fun thing to do.

To my eyes, it's in a very bad taste and unimaginative as well. Doom offers so many interesting things and you go with the plain logo on the forearm. Also, It positioned kinda awkwardly.

Glass in Virtua Cop also. t gives it comicbooky look. But I remember the closeup of some protective goggles looking terrible.

it looks interesting, similiar to the film-grain effect. I doubt that you can spot checkers in the action, if not told beforehand.

Yes, I was refering to the spike on which the head is bestowed, but some people think that it's Doomguy's hand, distorted with the fish-eye perspective, I presume.

Ah, 90's references. Not sure if changing to 4:3 makes image better – circles are clearly stretched vertically as a result. Leather bow is utterly useless xD. Leather katana is not. But still it's crap. --- You know what, it'd be cool to have Migh & Magic WAD.

I think it's quite possible that it's based upon this fasci-hanging. At least the left one. And the right one is probably has it's roots in another war-time photograph too. It looks like the corpse was originally lying on the ground.

It was so cool. I thought, maybe it's because of mini-map, but it works well in alpha (maybe it hindered the performance? I dunno). And even though it takes a lot of a screen space, isn't it a good thing to mask possibly smaller area to render? Colors might be a questionable part, but nothing you can't fix or even add an option to change them, like in Pip Boy. BTW, did anyone ask devs about the sandwich pickup xD? If hand and heart were ment to be keys, does it mean that sandwich is probably a key too ? xD
