I started to run out of ammo in the blue door area. Also love the new sky!

Ok I have now played through the first map and I am very impressed! It definitely achieves the old school feel that you were going for and includes plenty of impressive architecture. It took me about 35 minutes to complete (although I was taking my sweet time) so it is definitely not a short map, I think it has quite a nice pace to it and it kept me on my toes. I did however have a few issues with this map, the first being a hall-of-mirrors effect that I got in the area shown in the final screenshot you posted. I would also say that some of the monster placements became a little bit predictable towards the end and the ammo became a little too hard to come by for my taste, but these are just minor nitpicks in an otherwise solid map. I look forward to seeing this project continue!

Testing it out now I will let you know what I think as soon as I'm done!

Just tested this map out for myself and I am very impressed! As dmdr said this is a lot better than most first attempts that I have seen (as well as my own), I think it shows a good amount of creativity. My personal suggestion would be to expand the map size a little and focus on the layout of the map and ignore the temptation of adding lots of decorations around until after the map has a good flow. I also think I might hold the fastest time on this at 23 seconds ;) Keep up the good work!

Demon variants could open up a whole new amount enemies, perhaps there will be many more demon variants?

I was wondering what everyone’s opinions were on the weapons we have seen so far in doom eternal. Persionly I think that the guns look a lot better than the ones in doom 2016, I really like what they did with the plasma rifle in particular. However, I also think that some of the guns were not very interesting, like the full auto rifle. What do you guys think?

I play UV and try to get 100% of everything, I normally don't save unless the level is very difficult for me and I want to keep my weapons at the start.

I think Domm Eternal will release on 2020, however it would be cool for it to release on October 31(Halloween).
