Yes. Not only is the project now called "DRL" (or "D**mRL" depending on where you look), it's also now open-sourced and available on GitHub.

I will totally buy it again.

Thank you for the thorough review of Mixed Tape 3. As much as I understand the distaste for the mod forcing a specific play style, it's one of those things that just would have required too much effort from me to address (similarly with the Tri-Laser's lack of auto-aim, which is apparently a ZDoom limitation, as railgun attacks don't work with auto-aim for some reason, last I recall?).
Whatever the case, though, I'm glad a work-around was found, and that it seems that you did enjoy the mod, all things considered. -

An old ish wad from 1997 called The Last Marine had a secret level that was a port of Heretic's first map. If I remember right, this wad is either not available in the archives due to containing altered IWAD maps, or whatever version is available doesn't contain those maps anymore. For reference, the copy I'm referring to was on a PC Gamer cover disc.

Only technically a Doom video, but I discovered that Hell To Pay has an intro video that, to my knowledge, hasn't been put on YouTube yet. I've remedied this.

Ever played either of the No One Lives Forever games? (Which count for this thread, by the way.)

I suspect it might be down to the fact that the wider Brutal fan base is native to ModDB. Whatever the reason, they can like what they want to like. I'll stick with what I like, and so long as we're all leaving each other alone, I'll be happy.

Script error, "brutalv20b.pk3:blood.txt" line 610:

Anybody know how to this?Yup - in the affected line, change the lowercase letter L into a number 1.

Our projects will be finished at any time, they'll take its time as I said but they'll be done. besides, I thought I was going to see more people around asking for these projects but there's no one interested in them so far, neither making questions or asking about our progress. but my brothers and I are going to make these projects very cool!!
Oh, I'm definitely interested in seeing this completed! I just don't like bumping seemingly inactive project threads, for fear it makes me look impatient.

I like this one a lot! I'm definitely going to have to look at your older work...on that note, I love that you included QR codes to all of your older work. =P

I'm remembering the one DVD I ever saw that went out of its way to NOT spoil major plot twists: GalaxyQuest. There's a mysterious "OMEGA 13" button on the main menu, that won't work if you haven't played the movie first.

What's wrong with this thread that you need a new one? *shrug*

If I had to guess, the problem is that you are trying to create Textures entries with the same name as the patches that you are inserting into them. -
There's also the fact that Wolf:TNO's project lead, Jerk Gustaffson, used to make Quake maps in the 90s and early 2000s.

I don't think I ever properly weighed in on this wad, this is probably one of the most visually pleasing Doom wads I've played in a very long time. I kept saying to myself "How the hell?!" when I saw an effect that I couldn't tell how you'd accomplished, and the ending is truly inspired.

November, IIRC. Which means we get to put up with two more months of this crap. =/

If you feel uncomfortable running the EXE file directly, you might be able to open it with 7-Zip and bypass the self-extractor entirely.

I suspect the author does not understand what clipping is. Many sounds in Brutal Doom far exceed how loud a sound effect can be at that frequency and bit rate, which results in them clipping horribly and generally being a pain on the ears.

There is not enough King Crimson going around. If there are MIDI files of Level Five or anything else off The Power To Believe, those are perfect.

This is apparently the reason why /idgames didn't accept it. Lose the music and it'll probably go up.
