I am extremely pissed about this, on one hand they compliment brutal doom 64, which is derived from copyrighted assets and is distributed as freeware. But they go after a old fan project that has been the hard work with fully orignal asset but use a few trademarked things. and then they c&d them. I wish Carmack would have never sold ID all those years ago.

This wasn't a cease and desist.

  2. Thank you for the thorough review of Mixed Tape 3. As much as I understand the distaste for the mod forcing a specific play style, it's one of those things that just would have required too much effort from me to address (similarly with the Tri-Laser's lack of auto-aim, which is apparently a ZDoom limitation, as railgun attacks don't work with auto-aim for some reason, last I recall?).

Whatever the case, though, I'm glad a work-around was found, and that it seems that you did enjoy the mod, all things considered.

Whenever I try to launch the game this error comes up

    Script error, "brutalv20b.pk3:blood.txt" line 610:
    Expected ',', got 'l'.

    Anybody know how to this?

Yup - in the affected line, change the lowercase letter L into a number 1.

Thank you very much! Our projects will be finished at any time, they'll take its time as I said but they'll be done. besides, I thought I was going to see more people around asking for these projects but there's no one interested in them so far, neither making questions or asking about our progress. but my brothers and I are going to make these projects very cool!!

Oh, I'm definitely interested in seeing this completed! I just don't like bumping seemingly inactive project threads, for fear it makes me look impatient.

I don't remember which movie it was, but I had an old DVD that spoils the major plot twist by listing the chapter titles on the main page of the DVD menu.

I'm remembering the one DVD I ever saw that went out of its way to NOT spoil major plot twists: GalaxyQuest. There's a mysterious "OMEGA 13" button on the main menu, that won't work if you haven't played the movie first.

If I had to guess, the problem is that you are trying to create Textures entries with the same name as the patches that you are inserting into them.
