    Midi Recommendations

  2. The Redemption of Mankind is a map that is still in alpha: only one map has been finished(not with enemies, but with detail), and the other one is unbeatable. This PK3 was mainly made around the music I was able to grab from all over the place, and then i went from there. The wad is E1M1-(E1M2 but unbeatable) so it's the standard doom textures, and the music goes all through d_intro to D_VICTOR, D_INTER, and D_E1M1-D_E1M9. Not all songs are in midi format, so hence the google drive link at the end of the text. Other than that, it's still in alpha, so there's only one map.     Blood Oven

    Blood Oven is an average PWAD for Doom II: Hell On Earth. The maps included are: MAP01-07, MAP29(29 is the old map). Compatibility is supposed to be set to Boom (Strict), and was tested in GZDoom 4.2.1, Zandronum 3.0.0, and GZDoom 3.2.5. This map will work in vanilla, (fixed the texture offsets, I was being a doofus). The user will need to do some secret hunting to get ammo, but it can be beaten.     I'm gonna do a bullet point system, one I haven't done in a long time. There will be a small bit of "youdidn'tdothatright", but, it's my opinion.

    Blood Oven: The Re-Bloodining. or somethin. Kinda hard, but also easy. Nothin that should require 200,000 pistol starts, like other maps I've played. Tested on UV.

    Looking for opinions on starting room

    Interesting. Love the detail. By the bloodied man I would put a small pool of blood running into the red-snake-intestines. By the looks of things I'm assuming this is not your first map, but, one thing I'll say, as long as it's not pink cyan purple orange white and black, you can never have enough detail.

    What was your first ever wad published if you make doom wads?

    Blood Oven. Not my first made, no. Definitely not. The first one I made wouldn't even load for 5 seconds before it crashed, due to there being no true walls, each room is a door, etc, so i scrapped it. (I wanted to see if i could make maps without using any guides.) But the first put here? Blood Oven.

    The "95" Challenge Map

    I liked the map, a lot. I only really felt like there was one spot by the armor that was not clear to the player, and one spot where having a baron of hell was, well, lets just say dooms limited monsters did not help much. A caco or something would have been cool. I hope to see more maps from you, and I really did appreciate the map. It didn't feel like there were any limits at all.

    Don't overload yourself, A: that leads to unfinished projects, and B: that leads to lower quality ones too.
  11. This is what I expect the player's stat's to be: Run done with no cheats, completely by me. Ultra-Violence difficulty too. I see where you had a problem, and i'll try and make some of the secrets more glaringly obvious: (kidding, but if I see an area, I visualize how to get to that spot in my head. I'm also working on fixing the no ammo, as I expected the player to have walked through a secret area, and have gotten the 100 maxed out slugs n' shells. It is hard, definitely, I barely got through that with 1% HP in one spot, so that's why I tried to make it clear about save-scumming being allowed. also, you might say: NerdGamer23, why does it say No Clipping Off? Well, that's because I borked the exit door in the newer version. The newer version changed the lighting to be more like Quakes, and somehow i goofed up a number. The alternative exit still works, however, in the one room with bars for windows. It was supposed to take the player to MAP31, as this was going to be a megawad, but after lots of feedback during testing, I decided to make the WAD be just one map. If there is anything else you would like to comment on, please let me know. Otherwise, have a fantastic day!

I am submitting this as someone who has made PWADs in the past (not just Blood Oven, but most of my old works are broken, not finished, corrupted, or are just copypastas of other maps with more detail.) I will review any and every wad you submit, except for terry wads. (terry wads can burn in hell.) Good luck, and get to posting!

    Yeah, I tried that one. I tried it on co-op with a friend as well. I got up to the thin ledge(MAP24 MUCH?) and then I stopped.

    So, pretty fun map. Had to play on an easier difficulty than UV (Yell at me all you want, I ain't that much of a pro). The level design was fantastic, except for the hordes of enemies. The map shouldn't throw the player right into the midst of the action, it should give them a bit of time to, (ahem): "Get Phyched!"

  17. Fixed the PWAD, you will no longer need to use jumping, crouching, or free-look.
  18. Those I've been working to remove, there's only 2 spots where it would be needed, and those are secret areas.
