Wish I could see that! Never seen it happen in Doom before. I've usually only seen enemies go flying in games that have ragdoll physics, like the Just Cause games or Warframe.

I really like E2M4, but I have to go with the boss fight of E2M8. Doom II has the best maps imo, but you can't beat the fantastic boss fights Doom 1 has.

Great to hear! I just missed them, they were somewhat near me but I didn't find out about it until the day before. Haven't been to a concert in while, hopefully I can get to a good one soon, last concert I saw was Anthrax/Killswitch Engage early last year.

I used to mainly use Skulltag, but now I always use GZdoom.

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, which is unexpected coming from an artist like Squarepusher, but it shows he can do really emotional stuff just as well as the chaotic music he's known for.

Saw the LGR video last night, looks like an absolute blast. Nice to see a new old school shooter, I'll definitely be getting it at some point.

SSG, maybe the most satisfying weapon in any game. Following that, Plasma.

Thought the new song was great, sounded like something right off of Lateralus. Doesn't beat Korn's upcoming album as my most anticipated album right now, but definitely looking forward to it.

So much classic 90's electronic music, and this is one of the absolute best.

Hey everyone, The Pits is the third of the wads I've made so far, might post the untitled first two another time, but wanted to start with this one. Tested in both Skulltag and GZDoom. Single map (Map01) in Doom II Works in both Software and Hardware rendering Doesn't require freelook, but it won't affect the map No jumping Difficulty: Medium/Hard. Tested in Hurt Me Plenty and it's challenging but fair. The map is centered around dodging the many pits that dominate the base, and collecting each key to escape to the next arena. Have fun! EDIT: I've updated the map, with the following fixes/additions: - Fixed the red key issue, though kept the teleport for now just if the player accidentally runs off the key platform - No jumping, due to the red key fix - Added more texture variation, while remaining consistent - Removed the invisibility before the final fight - Cut down on resources, while keeping it fair - Fixed the Spectre path issue, having it be damaging as it should - Fixed the stairs damaging the player - Gave more of the doors consistent speed (just kept the fast doors on some of the secrets) - Removed the UV goggles and slightly increased the brightness in the Imp pit, the radiation suit gives enough light. Screenshots and the File have been updated. The Pits.rar

Thanks for playing, must've missed those door textures on the secrets. I noticed that maybe I should've kept the UV goggles I had originally for the Imp pit, I have the brightness turned up a bit so I didn't take in account those playing with the darker brightness settings.

Sleep, Volume 1 is such an underrated album.

Forgot how much I love Mushroomhead. Mainly XX and XIII though, I haven't really checked out their other albums enough other than a few songs here and there.

I agree that in general it is a step down, but that niche role in sniping is what I was talking about. Niche yes, but an important one in certain maps. Though it works for crowds of weaker enemies as well, more so than the shotgun.

Pistol obviously, but after that probably the rocket launcher. It's great for taking out big enemies in open spaces if you don't have plasma ammo, but it's useless in tight spaces. Why all the complaining about the Chaingun? It's great for taking out Imps and Former Humans from far distant heights.

This is such an underrated album, maybe my favorite Destruction album. Close call between this and Release From Agony.
