It's me again. God, It's been forever since I posted here. I actually forgot I had an account here, until I finally played DOOM again after a few months. Also, I need to change my avatar. I was trying WAY too hard to look "cool" when really it just looks like a bad sprite edit. As I said, I've been playing The Ultimate DOOM again, and it's been really fun. I'm using GZDOOM again, because I wanted to try out Brutal Doom.. It's kinda fun, but I have an issue with it. It may just be a skill issue I have, but I feel like Brutal Doom makes the game way too hard. And I didn't want to switch to an easier difficulty than UV because I felt bad for doing so. I feel like the monsters deal way too much damage, especially the Shotgunners. This mod has made me develop a hatred for Shotgunners. They're the Chaingunners of The Ultimate DOOM, after all (according to a friend of mine). But aside from that, I really enjoy it. But I just want to know, why does everyone hate it? Aside from the fact that the creator has gotten into a bit of controversy.

i've personally had issues with getting crispy doom to have the midi soundtrack.

I've mostly been playing GZDoom with the Vanilla Essence mod

UPDATE: Been playing normal DOOM on UV and I'm having a much less annoying run so far. I'm at Toxin Refinery and I've died much less than I did in Brutal Doom.

I should've seen that coming. I think I'll just play normal DOOM on UV from now on. I probably shouldn't have played a mod like Brutal Doom at my skill level, especially since I haven't touched DOOM in months.

Keep in mind I'm not like those people who say "OOOOH BROOTAL DOOM BEST MOD EVAR!!!", I just happen to really like it. And I know there are other great mods out there too, like Golden Souls or Metadoom.

I've been playing it. Amazing PC game, the only reeason I wasn't playing it before was because my old computer couldn't handle it. But I have a new computer now, so I thought, "Why don't I play it?" and here we are.

On March 31st, I am getting Doom Eternal!

I'm playing the xbox one version until i can save up my money enough to buy an Alienware Aurora R11. You might be thinking, "Oh no, that's trash!" But would you rather: A. Have a PC with a GPU and CPU from 2010 or B. Get a new one with better specs

I tried putting the IDKFA album by Andrew Hulshult into PRBoom+, but it left me with the music being so slowed down that it's practically if DOOM 64's OST wasn't ambience.

Also, I can't play my copy of DOOM Eternal because my PC doesn't meet it's minimum requirements. But, I can play it on my Xbox one S thanks to Game Pass.

It's been nearly a year.... I'm back.... Planning to install doom eternal. I've had it for a long time and STILL haven't installed my copy Heard about the new Doom Eternal dlc, Pretty Cool. I'm gonna be more active on these forums... Still can't believe I started a HUGE thread because I said I would get Doom Eternal.

Ok so, I heard that denuvo gets in the core of your PC and is a backdoor for hackers. Yeah, sorry, but I'm not playing Doom Eternal until it gets fixed, If it does. I'm really sorry. I know you all have waited a long time, but I'm not putting my PC at risk or letting it decrease performance. I'm sorry.

I need help. on prboom+ in doom II, there is mouse lag. It's like when i look left or right, it moves very choppily

It worked on doom II, but on Ultimate Doom it's still a little choppy

Unless it gets fixed, I may end up getting a refund if I can. I hope ID finds a better publisher than BUGthesda
