having worked at best buy for slightly over a year i am moving on to another department. to their tech service. reason is better hours and a job i would enjoy doing. not that i really have any major bitches about my current position, except on truck nights.
no more putting up heavy boxes, refrigerators, TV's and stuff like that.-
I know what you mean when it comes to shipments coming in from a truck. I never worked at Best Buy, but when I worked at a pool supply store for three years, I remember days where we unloaded an entire pallet of 50lb bags of filter sand, individually, off the edge of a truck. Or when we had to take new above-ground pools off the truck while it was on a ramp. The walls of above-ground pools, which are made from a roll of aircraft aluminum, weigh at least 500lbs each for the well-made ones.
