well i see it as a good sign because it means doom is still popular. even when i dont like many of the stupid things they say and do, like the fuckmordeth thing we saw over a week ago. it does insure that doom goes on. i will say there has been a lack of interesting topics here but i hope that does not keep up. remeber we were all newbies at one point and most of us did similar stupid things too. i will atmit that most have left sence i joined over a year ago. only few people are here that were when i joined. i joined long before newdoom was out. i remeber when it came out and many people went to it but quickly left newdoom. doomworld is the best place for anything doom, but newdoom has alot of maps too

some are worth it and i have had no slowdowns with my system useing the md2 replacements. but i will agree they could be much better. some are from an old quake1 TC so that would explain the reason they are not good. someone should make new ones that look alot better

oh man the c64, i remeber that i had bought one at a garage sale 5 years ago for $5. i dont think i still have it if i do it would be somewere put away in my attic. as for that rom i think i have seen that before. i think it is a game like 3d pacman, and u shoot shapes. i think i have a game like that for atari

ok i have been trying to get linux help but all the forums are fucked up! i registered at linuxnewbie.org but for some reason i can not get logged in even when they said i am registered. other forums dont even work. i must say in all the time i have had a computer and the internet this has been the only forum i have goten to work most of the time. the one at linuxnewbie.org is the same set up as this but i dont get why it is so FUBAR. well if any of u want to help me with my linux prob or give me a link to a working linux forum. i would like any help. also i have gone to register my linux product, yea i bought it but they ask for a serial number but were is it on the box. i bought linux-mandrake 7.2

yea i know it is alot different than dos and windows, but it has not crashed yet and that is a good sign. when i was learning windows it was always crashing. i have learned how to run basic files with the command, that is good for my first day with it. now i am trying to get it to detect my new modem, not a win modem

ok i downloaded both for LINUX, but i did that in win98 and put the .tar.gz files on a cd and went to open them in linux but it said they were read only and would not let me extract. so how do i get zdoom and legacy for linux if i can not get online. i have put other things on a disk and it worked fine but for soe reason those 2 will not

ok i finally got linux on my system and it kicks ass, but i have a winmodem so it looks like i got to get a new modem. right now i am geting all the linux ports of games i got so i can play them

ok i have installed LINUX on my system but i am unable to use my modem, it is a winmodem. anyway does anyone know were i can get a driver for a US robotics 56k winmodem so it can run under linux, if there is a driver

well i have an idea that would kick gameboy A's ass. it would be a gameboy like playstation. it would have all the features of playstation1, with better graphics. it would most likly be about the size of the psone but would not use normal sized game disks. instead use the mini-disks, useless and worthless in music but perfect for a compact game system. Also the use of the current memory cards. i think that would be a truely kick ass system. anyone else have an idea similar to that.

ok when i came here at 4:30 est american time doomworld fourms were normal but when i got here just now all i see is this fuck mordeth and doomworld sucks shit. who the hell is this little bastard. oh well he is probaly some little kid who was ass raped by his dad and tries to act like a big tough guy by doing this shit to our doomworld fourm.

youknow that would be kick ass if someone made a doom pinball game like the one in the screen shot, well for the computer at least. if some one has made a game like that tell me were i can get it

i looked in my doom1 wad file to find a few doom2 spirts and textures. why is that? well i am useing the ultimate doom version so that may have something to do with it. was some of the stuff from doom2 cut before it was finsihed in doom1. stuff i have seen: hell spawn cube spirt, hell knight(incomplet spirts no attack scenes, a few other textures i have not seen in any main doom level. i am sure i missed a few that i have seen but these are some big ones.

i would take half-life over all of those, well turok 2 is very good. i dont like many n64 games. I use to have one but tradeing it for a playstaion, the only games i like for it are doom, final fantasies, parasite eve 1 & 2, and a few other games. i hate sports games the most

I have finished my replacement of episode 2, did not do the secret level but oh well. they are very difficult lots of cocoademons and lost souls.

i play ultra-violence all the time. hey try my new maps that are coming out. very difficult many hard enemies and little ammo

yea i prefer pc over any console game system. a m not saying the new gameboy will totaly suck ass and i think n64 is a good system but i am just saying they could be better. Nintendo has been behind in alot of there new technology but it seems that way with many systems now

how about a DM mod called doom vs. duke. U can play as teams and each team is either doom or duke. doom sides gets doom weapons and duke sides gets duke weapons. ahh it was just an idea i had

it seems the last kick ass thing that has been ahead of the other companies the nintendo has released has been super nintendo. In my opinion nintendo has relesed alot of good stuff buyt it has been behind it become disapointing. N64 was great when it first came out but it still used the old cartrige which limited game sizes, it had kick ass graphics but was still behind many companies stuck with the playstation. gameboy was great when it fist came out too but it took the at least 5 years to upgrade and all they did was make it smaller. Then gameboy color not muched changed but the additon of color but the color display is weak. gamegear came out long befor gameboy color and it had sharper images and was ahead of the game. sega also had a portable genis system that was the size of game gear but played the normal games. If nintendo relesed a gameboy with the power of the N64 or even a playstation i would by the game boy advanced but it seems like anoth cheap upgrade that is long over due. look at the doom screen looks more like a beefed up wolf3d, no floor/celing and i bet the enemies will look as they did in the 32x version of doom. I am sure it could be better than it is going to be but i think it will just be a waste.
