Howdy @dac please sign me up :) Edit: I've got one ready to go π» Map Name: Hammer Smashed Lilac Author: Russell Bowtell Music: Tempissed Phlux by David "Tolwyn" Shaw Difficulty Settings: Implemented Ports Tested: DSDA-Doom v0.25.2 Description: Just a short walk around the (square) corner, there is no keys and no switches. It's kinda tech base themed with lots of purple. It can be 100% completed in under 3 minutes fairly easily but near the end the player can get swarmed if they are unlucky :) Notes: I've been working on this on and off since December 6th so roughly about 3 weeks. Name: Viridis Extrema Author: Russell Bowtell Engine: GZDoom UDMF Difficulties: Some of the tougher monsters are removed or replaced on skills 1 - 3 Music: Fear Eater by Mark Klem Textures: OTEX by ukiro, Doom 2 Sky: Mechadon's Box 'o Skies! DBSESKY2 (Recolored by me) Lightmode: 2 "Doom" Description: My first attempt at using OTEX, the map is a switch/key hunt culminating in a big BFG fight. The player can collect the keys in any order, there is also a Duke Nukem style combination lock that can be opened anytime. Jumping, crouching and mouselook are allowed and encouraged but it should be completable without them. It takes me 35 to 40 minutes to 100% it but others have done it much faster :) The textures I used are included in the wad and are named "JSM*****.png" Cheers Obsidian! βΊοΈ JaySmithen_DMP2022_v1.7z -

Yet another way would be to make a dummy sector and use '210:Transfer Floor Brightness'. Then you can use ACS to change the brightness of the dummy sector :) Example wad TransferBrightnessExample.zip -

It was such a pleasure to make two maps for this awesome project β€οΈ I'm really happy with it! (I just wish I could play the whole project, I can't beat the first map without cheat codes and a genie that grants wishes to little boys that suck at Doom lol) @dac Could I please be credited as "Aaron Russell Bowtell" in the final version? Howdy :) I just made an update to my map "Uncanny Encounters". I hope that's ok. There was an incorrect texture in the cave that stood out so badly I can't believe I missed it lol.
