I felt like making a skybox today, so I attempted to make some nice animated clouds. The basic principle is this: Make different cloud mask textures(where the part that would normally be all fluffy white is instead transparent, and the part that would normally be transparent is fully opaque with the desired sky color), then put these on two(or more) 3d-floors in a sector where the actual ceiling is all white or some subtle cloud texture, and have the 3d-floors scroll their floors in different directions.

Is the dithering effect done in post, or is it in the game?

I love the music, I love the textures. Heck, I even like most of the maps, too.

Did you find what you were looking for? I'm a bit puzzled by the question, though. Didn't you just answer it yourself? The zdoom wiki article on the GAMEINFO lump mentions several options for configuring various aspects of the loading screen. When you say edit, what is it specifically you want to change?

I used to play EvE online way back in 2006. The game has, or had, a feature where if you held a key, I forget which, your cursor turned into this little square magnifying glass. That's the border around my avatar. The subject? It's the version of the Minmatar Scythe from before the Trinity patch overhauled the graphics. Why do I use it as a forum avatar, still? Well... it looks kinda like a face, don't it? It's funny.
