Also a bit late to the party here. Great map! Definitely a challenge, even on HMP, which is always nice to see. The detailing and texture work was great and I never got lost or mixed up on where to go next. Excited to see what you make next!

First time joining one of these! Have the time for two, so two I shall do. I also do plan to at least consistently join in in the future. Blind Alley Q: "The Warf" (Released 11/18/02 by Gene Bird, played with GZDoom) Was very pleasantly surprised by this. From the first room, I was expecting just corridor/room/corridor action. Nothing offensive but far from unique. While it is still very much that, it goes beyond that by doing things like teleporting enemies into past areas, constantly having you backtrack through those areas to access newly opened up rooms. My opinion quickly went from "It's neat but I wouldn't really push anyone to play it" to "This is definitely worth your time". Only real big flaw was that you didn't really have much choice in weapons beyond spamming the SSG. 6/10 Zero Effort (Released on 03/08/15 By Memfis, also played on GZDoom) Betraying its namesake, this map has plenty of visible effort, despite only being worked on for a total of 5 non-consecutive hours (still impressive!) It has a pretty difficult start, where quick movement is needed to prevent dying from the various powerful enemies right out in the open. It does, unfortunately, end very quickly, only taking me just 5 minutes to complete. Still, I'd say this is worth checking out. 5/10 from me.

got the steam version all setup with zdl and doom explorer, so i can have all my doom stuff in one place while being able to take screenshots and track my hours.

I have tried that mod, unfortunately it seems to be broken and development on it has died.

It seems odd, considering that the source code for D3 is under gpl, and source ports exist, that no one has bothered to port the ui over. Then again, subtitles have been missing in every possible version of doom 3, official or not, so maybe this is a case of laziness and/or not seeing it as a problem.

They Should Stop Using The BFG Edition For Console Releases

Honestly i wouldn't mind the shoulder-mounted flashlight if it was optional + in the same position as the original flashlight. -
Perfected Doom 3 definitely seems (to me at least) to be the joke answer to the question "How do we improve Doom 3?" I agree with multiplayer and skippable cutscenes, but that's about it. If you want fast-placed gameplay like classic doom + old designs and SSG, why not just... play Doom 2? Doom 3 is meant to be a horror game and taking that away would make it far worse.

The MegaMus Randomizer; random MIDIs for Doom!
Radial replied to OkDoomer174's topic in Mods & Resources
any plans for an option to have the music switch to another song once the current one ends? -
the tutorial in question is this. Followed it exactly yet doesn't work whatsoever. Has the way teleports are made changed drastically from DB2 to UDB? I thought and was told that tutorials for DB2 would translate perfectly into UDB, but this is clearly not the case.
-
Why does UDB have a UDMF format for only Doom 2, and not Doom 1?

hes already made a video on winnie the pooh, and it's (either thankfully or not) as disturbing as the rest of his content

This can be from 2016, eternal, 64, 3, 2 or 1. Nobody Told Me About ID is my personal favorite. The synth works well, and the accordion (at least i think its accordion) works really well, makes it sound epic, definitely fitting of the cyberdemon.
