    Scientists Doom the World (maybe)

Sounds like an M. Night Shamalyan (sp?) movie. How would colliding atoms, something that happens all the time in the universe, cause time travel in the reverse direction?

    George Carlin died

Everyone here that smokes pot, cigs or drinks booze, or whatever, dedicate the next one to the late n' great.

    Hardest games ever?

Dude, you just ruined me, I started looking at that site at like, 5:30ish PM and it's 9:17 PM now and there seems to be no end in sight :-P

New Site: The Doom Movie Archive

It's because in England, you either hate guns and don't want them or love guns because you can't have them. This site is pretty neat, I vaguely remember hearing that those rifles were made from a G36 or whatever.

    ePSXe 1.7.0

I had ePSXe when I got Chrono Cross, but I tried installing a GameShark add-on that ended up messing up the video settings, so it ran super-super-super-super fast.

    Your personal Nirvana

Same here. Smoke some grass and listen to some tunes, bang a chick, enjoy a properly cooked steak with an excellent marinade, these are some of the finest things in life.

Scripting - The main challenge for Doom's future

tl;dr version : Doom needs a specific scripting language because the rest aren't really great options.

    DNF Gameplay footage

You saw roughly 12 seconds of gameplay footage, how the fuck did you come to this conclusion?
  9. I love getting packages in the mail :

-A high-polish brass Zippo with an armored case. Sexy lighter, looks gold. I didn't know it, but apparently the insert (the actual lighter, the proper name is the insert) is brass too, I thought it was regular nickle-coated steel.

-Two magazines for my 995 9mm carbine. Along with the factory magazine, that means I can have 30 rounds ready to go. When I get at least two more mags, I'll be at the sweet spot for now.

  10. Learn anatomy and avoid her urethra then. Also, a few fun facts : urine is sterile, unless they are sick with something, and you'd know they were sick. (BTW that doesn't mean STDs, you can't get STDs from pee.) Urine is basically just salt and water with urea mixed in, urea is just what your kidneys filter out. When you sweat, the SAME EXACT STUFF COMES OUT. Sweat and pee are the same thing, they just come out of different holes. So, unless you plan on avoiding kissing her sweaty neck...don't be a pussy and give that bitch the best oral she's ever had.

Doom 4 in Motion, id Is Hiring

Doom 3 didn't blow me away gameplay wise, but I found it to be tolerable. Hopefully Doom 4 will be better.
  12. Oral, because it takes way too long for me to get off.

    Save East Winch!

Grow some balls and brew up some home-made explosives in your basement and start some good old-fashioned mayhem.
  14. It was a .25, those are about the size of a pack of cigarettes. Really tiny. Also, 2 ounces could easily fit in several pockets in the form of multiple baggies of pot. Even 2 ounces in one bag isn't really THAT big of a bulge.

Your theories what happens after you die? or the afterlife?

No, they consume inert flesh and material, not the heat or electrical signals the body created.

    Freedoom 0.6.2 released

Neat, can't wait for Freedoom 1.0 :-P Seriously though; keep up the good work, Freedoom people. I wish I knew how to map, I have plenty of free time to make levels ;-P
  17. Yeah, I got inspired today to become an author alongside being a gunsmith, obviously the topics would be 1) gunsmithing and 2) guns in particular. Needless to say, I want to write about Goddamn guns as well as build them. So yeah, uh, I guess that's just another thing I am tacking on the 5 Year Plan list.

    I might write fiction too under a pen-name :-P

You should write fiction ON THE GUNS YOU MAKE. Then you can truly say the pen is not mightier than the sword/gun because they are one and the same!

What about WITH the guns? Holy shit!

If you liked what you read then look for the full copy in a bookstore near you!

Oh man, I can't wait to find out what happened to BBG!

Time to Set Your World on Fire

Simon and Schuster, the company that published the original Doom novels, has recently released a new Doom novel, apparently set in the Doom 3 universe. Doom 3: Worlds on Fire was released at the end of last month in paperback only. The author, Matthew Costello, wrote the scripts for Doom 3 and its expansion pack, Resurrection of Evil. You can read an excerpt here. You can also buy it on Amazon for $7.99.

I tried to play Doom RPG emulated but try to start a game crashed the emulator.

Time to Set Your World on Fire

I have all the books in the RE series by SD Perry (unless there are more). She's a pretty damn good writer.

Time to Set Your World on Fire

I'm on page 178 so far and I can tell you that this guy is a pretty good writer. The book has a pretty good pace and when he writes from a character's POV, you can feel the personality shift. The Doom books fell flat on that. All of the Doom novel characters felt the same : wordy and they all had a troubled past. Anyway, so far, good read.

Time to Set Your World on Fire

You know, from what little I've read of it so far, it seems pretty well written. It's certainly not as bad as the original novels.
