You have another .410? Cuase I don't think Mossbergs are meant to shoot both .410 and .45 Colt. I know that there are guns that can do that however (NEF Survivor is the only one that springs to mind).
Another? I only own one, the one I just bought. Yeah they can, you can only load one at a time though.
I'd shoot off an email to Mossberg and ask if you can shoot .45 colt through their .410's. Guns that are made to be able to shoot both have a bore diameter of .45 rather than the .41 of a true .410 shotgun, and also have removable chokes so you don't damage the choke (or cause excess pressure) by throwing a .45 caliber bullet through them.
Just because a .45 colt will chamber doesn't mean it's safe either, as shotgun chambers are wider than the actual bore diameter. Once that .45 hits the forcing cone you will have a big pressure spike, as you are compressing it from .45 to .41. It may not fail for hundreds of rounds, but when it does whoever is shooting it probably isn't going to have much of their off hand left.
Definitely check with Mossberg.
EDIT: Checked Mossberg's site. .410 500's come with a fixed full choke. There is no way it is safe to shoot a .45 colt in it.
