    It been about a month now and I'm wondering if there's a link for the jdoom map I edit for freedoom. I would like to see this and continue working on it if the file has a place to be store. Also I would like peoples input. Think it will be good for the linux users.

    As far as I know, not that much, the only thing I see different is tags that are use for more then one type of function and extra monsters appearing and red, yellow and blue doors not being label red, yellow and blue. Yes, I'm determine to waste my own free time, so why should it matter to anyone else ? Unless this is a ego thing.

    But Risen3d is boom compatable, if you decide to leave out jdoom, that is understandable. As far as I know, it's far more compatable with risen3d then jdoom, unless you are refering to the map I edit. An any case, thankyou.

    You could see it for yourself, I'm more then sure it will happen to anyone. All the other levels work fine so it has to be something. I try finding it in doombuilder but I don't notice anything out of the oridanry

    Ok, I uploaded the wad, the first one sort of lost connection so download the zip instead, it's here ftp://ftp.vect.org/pub/incoming/freedoom/ However I think you need a ftp protocol to download it.

    Well most of incompatibility were minor. Like red, blue and green door weren't label red, green or blue. Floors that don't lower, I did some fancy editing with a few things, so it almost impossible to see the difference. The most problems I had was with EMl7. There were lines that were over lapped and sectors that aren't solid. Despite all this I had to end up deleting one door and rebuild another. But please give it a try and tell me what you think. Maybe you can help me come with a solution for EMl7

  18. Yes, the sector numbers, however I am editing a map and with so many lines it's hard to keep track of them. I wish to change a few because it doesn't make a complete sector or close polyline. I will have to change the sector of a "line" to make it a independent sector area. Other wise it may be apply to ones I don't want or it will remain open.
  19. As nice as doombuilder is, is there a way to see all the sectors that had been taken or not taken ?

    There's something wrong with level 4 in the shareware version of freedoom. It crash the elumators. At first I thought it was jDoom and map issue then it done it again with 3Drisen. All of the other map seem to be ok however.

    The change is almost impossible to notice. Most of the change had to do with doors not opening, floors not lowering, switch won't execute. Theres not very much changes in the map design either. I decide not to change them to work with doom2.exe since other engine are able to run them without plane flow problems.

    One level impossibly ?

    I'm having trouble with level 10 the refueling base. It's impossibly to get from the switch to the lift in time to get on it. Might be done if those boxes weren't in the path but don't know. Is this a design flaw or something ?

    Ok, so far I fix some issues with the maps. Level 1-9 in freedoom2 wad now works or can be completed in jDoom. Anyone care to test them out ? Also if I am going to upload them I'm going need some space, my ftp server just won't do it.
