  1. I know I might be a little late to playing it, but I just finished playing through Heartland. It was my first time using the Eternity Engine and although the collision detection seemed a little janky at times, it was a great overall experience. This got me wondering what other people thought of the Eternity Engine. Love it? Hate it? Are there any other mods for it that you recommend playing? Feel free to share your thoughts.

  3. Hey guys, I'm working on a set of maps and I was wondering how to create custom midi files for it. I already have FL Studio on my computer because making music is a hobby of mine. The tutorials I found online either didn't go into much detail or weren't specifically about making midis. Also, if there is a way I could listen to the midi without exporting the file then it would be great to hear how it's done.

    How do you make 3D bridges in Boom?

    Thanks guys. I've been using silent teleporters for faking room over room, but this lets me do a lot more.
  5. Hi everyone I've seen some maps in Boom wads that allow the player to move under and over bridges. An example of this would be Scythe's MAP18, Ms Futura. I know how the visuals are done (aligning middle textures so that they look like a bridge), but I don't know how people make them work on the technical side. If anyone knows how then it would be great if you could teach me.

    Help Improve My Doom Wad

    Thanks for the feedback. I recently played Scythe, so I think I had that mentality while I was designing these levels. If I got rid of most of the hitscanners, and made the opening section smaller, would MAP02 be better?
  7. I hate how in the vanilla Doom engine you can run into an enemy even though it's way below you.

    Help Improve My Doom Wad

    I've been working on a wad that I wanted to share with the Doomworld community so you guys could give me some constructive criticism on it. Just so you know, the wad isn't finished. I'm probably gonna go back and revise some things you guys find out I messed up. I'll also probably add some more levels keeping what you guys say in mind. Thanks in advance for beta testing. I recommend using (G)ZDoom for playing it. I tested it in ZDoom and I doubt some of the features will work in other engines. Click here to download it. Thanks again!
  9. MAP13 is terrible. They had to put an arrow in it to show you where to go and I still had a hard time navigating it.
