  1. Odds of anything getting patched are extremely low. The game has had alot of bugs and shit that are gamebreaking since the september update, and the fact its went that long without an update tells me it won't be getting one.

    WAD has been updated to have DMAPINFO and custom PAR times. Known issue for Unity: Map 32 does not appear in the level select. Must IDCLEV to it for now. Will investigate. Edit: Issue fixed

    I just updated all existing links to the wad, so it's now updated and unless more bugs are found (at the moment we aren't aware of anymore besides whats stated in the text file) there won't be anymore updates. You should be free to record demos. If we update anymore, it will most likely just be the text file. We are still hunting down some of the midis, and failing at it.
  6. I know one one issue like that, that happens when I'm streaming in Discord, every now and then my game will drop to like 20 fps on any form of turning or moving. But what you are explaining I don't think I've seen yet

  8. The stuttering issue is an issue that is currently present in all ports of the game. It just doesn't happen often, if at all.

    So I can't seem to figure out DMAPINFO. I see other WAD's with it and they all look different. I tried to do it similar to BTSX but it didn't seem to work for me (I assume because lack of knowledge) If someone knows what they are doing, and can help with it, I'll be glad to put you in the credits for helping! Edit: Thanks to an awesome dude named Arsinikk, we got it figured out :>

    Think back to tenements. Remember how there is a small teleporter sticking out of the wall by the red key? There is one similar by some stairs. That might be the one you are missing. Took me ages to find it too lmao

    We tested it with dos, but to be fair we didn't test every map. We used Unity for most of the testing. We assumed it worked with DOS. If it doesn't then just use either Unity, or another source port. I know nothing about DMAPINFO and I couldn't find anything online that helped me learn how to do it, but I may have easily overlooked how to do it. If someone has a tutorial video of some kind on how to do it, I'd absolutely love to add it. As far as the text file, it's fine the way it is, still working on the midi credits, at some point that will be updated with the proper credits to all the midis.

    WAD has been updated, map 18's mistagged door is now properly tagged. Also added a dehacked file to have auto map names (though level: is missing because of limit) and a custom story we came up with. Enjoy! Download from the link on original post.

    You downloaded the wrong version. Map 16's issue was fixed. The version I posted here is the correct version. As for map 18, whoops. As for map 23 not sure what you are on about, I just checked and all secrets are reachable and have something in them. Could you provide a screenshot? Maybe I'm missing something.
  15. In the end, you had fun with it. That is all we really cared about, is for people to enjoy our wad and have fun with it. Though I will note, speedrunning was in our mind when making it, but we really wanted each map to be fun with good combat. That was our #1 thing. (except for map 14's void glide. Wanted a small nod to E2M6 lol) You are right about the DMAPINFO lump, having that would have actually been nice. That, and lack of original music is honestly due to lack of knowledge. I didn't know how to use SLADE very well until we started doing this project, and I didn't look into the DMAPINFO lump, was more worried about making the wad itself look and play good. Your feedback is honestly great. It only makes the next project even better. :) Glad you had fun!
