  1. An unfortunate tragedy has struck the local plant: it broke down and its toxic waste is spreading all over the place. Fortunately for you, those new radiation suits really do last long. As you go inside, after having located the source of the toxic waste leek, you are faced with the terrible fate, even worse than death. Thank god you have that pistol on you. --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Doom 2/ Limit-removing Source port: Tested with PrBoom+, Zandronum Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys) Contains: New original graphics, Ultimate Graphics and Final Doom Graphics, Doom music taken from other stock maps. 2. Welcome to my newest map! This time, it's some sort of subverted corrupted base without any particular backstory. Enjoy~ --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Limit-Removing (Doom 2) Source port: Tested with PrBoom+ Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys only) Contains: Couple of textures, mostly from the og doom Difficulty levels: Yes Difficulty: Medium Length: Short-Medium waste_repository.zip
  3. I've compiled my latest 6 maps, after the first compilation, which I genuinely enjoy, so there are no new maps here, if that's what y'all were expecting. I'm going on vacation, and, aside from that, I simply don't feel like mapping for some reason. These compilation might just start becoming a thing from now on. Anyways, the maps included are: -MAP01: Project Charon Map 2 -MAP02: Old Storage One -MAP03: Revamped Base -MAP04: Dawn -MAP05: Waste Repository (the correct version, I checked) -MAP06: The Last Stand --IMPORTANT-ISH-- As usual... Waste Repository (A Doom II Limit-Removing Map)

The HOM is still there and u can still get stuck? That's weird, I made sure to fix it. I even remember having to write that there was such a problem in the OP, and updated it after uploading the fixed version. I probably uploaded the wrong version after all bruh EDIT: Fixed- EDIT 2: I'm confused no matter what it can't be fixed EDIT 3: I fixed it now I swear
  5. Back with another map. Supposed to be a post-apocalyptic base of some sort. It's funny how I found this map kinda nice today, while I was trashing it for days straight, until I had the motivation to finish it. --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Doom 2/ Limit-removing Source port: Tested with PrBoom+ Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys only) Contains: Couple of textures Difficulty levels: No Difficulty: Easy Length: Short-Medium the_last_stand.zip

Lab C-27 (A Doom II format map)

WOW?! Two maps in a row?! So this is a map I made a while back I intentionally forgot to post here. So this is "Project C-27", a secret project to colonize the space object you're currently in. It all began in lab C-27, which has now been overrun by dark, invasive forces even to the native species of this planet. Despite the premises being evacuated, some unfortunate souls like you didn't make it on time. So this is a map that will be included in this very cool project I'm taking part in, I definitely suggest you to keep up with it and stay tuned: lab_c-27.zip --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Doom 2 (And yes, it works with THE og doom) Source port: Tested with PrBoom+ Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys only) Contains: Couple of textures, sky texture from @DevilMyEyes Difficulty levels: No Difficulty: Easy Length: Medium

Lab C-27 (A Doom II format map)

i'm pretty sure just the sky texture is not my own making. the rest are modified resources from doom 2 or downright copied from ultimate doom

Sorry updated the op to credit u Nah we dont do that here
  9. An old base that wasn't used by (insert-UAC-replacement). On its inauguration day, a tragedy stuck the newly built base, almost reverting it to its origins. Kill whatever's in there. So, it's been a while since I last did something in this community, like a post, or a reply, or a map for example. Well, after a short hiatus, I'm ready to show you a modest map that I (not so) quickly put together. I'm not so confident about it, to the point that I feel like a shouldn't even continue mapping after this, but, who cares? As usual, here's the important stuff: --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Doom 2/ Limit-removing Source port: Tested with PrBoom+ Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys only) Contains: Couple of textures, TNT music Designed for: Singleplayer only, at this point I know for a fact multiplayer starts are useless Difficulty levels: Oops I forgot rev_base.zip

Revamped Base (Limit-removing Doom 2 map)

Idk, there might be a lot of factors, like me enjoying other people's maps more and also wanting to revert back to my old style, which, by other people's standards is way weaker. I'm also unable to find anything interesting anymore, not just Doom-related stuff, I'm just having one of those long phases where I have no motivation to do anything :/
  11. wow this seems interesting! can i get e2m3?
  12. Welcome to Project Charon, my first mapset (in a while). 6 maps, each with a similar setting, which might remind you of Ultimate Doom. The maps may be short, but their redeeming quality is that they were all made in 3 hours. So that leaves us with 30 minutes for each map. I was inspired by a community project I participated in a few days ago, where we had to make 10 minute maps (insane, but surprisingly doable). So I made 6 speedmaps, 4 of which were just yesterday. I have to say, finding any sort of inspiration was really hard and the lack of ideas hit me like a truck, but I managed to dish out these 6 maps. These maps are generally difficult, and playing them will definitely end up with a few deaths. I have died countless times in an attempt to beat these maps, and, really, I couldn't get why. But their gameplay is really hit or miss, sometimes the RNG loves you and sometimes nothing goes right. Enemy numbers are generally 20-30 monsters, so go figure. Pistol starts are not obligatory, but maps are designed accordingly. --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Doom 2/ Limit-removing Source port: Tested with PrBoom+ Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys only) Contains: Couple of textures, Ultimate Doom, TNT music Designed for: Singleplayer only, multiplayer starts added after the 30 minute mark. Difficulty levels: In 30 minutes? Are you kidding me? char_pro.zip

  14. Really creative name, indeed. I'm back, with my second ever map in UDB, and so far, I'm liking this editor, though not very different from GZDB. So Dawn... probably took me 3 days to finish, although it should've taken me less. I like how it turned out, started out much brighter at first, but then I changed the music, tampered with the lighting and it's a whole different map now. I don't think the atmosphere here is as heavy as, say Toxic Leek or Vacated Permises, but I like it anyways. Still experimenting, especially with lighting details. Still as short as my maps get, not any less confusing and puzzly than Old Storage One. Might not wanna play this one on UV, bye! Enjoy! --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Doom 2/ Limit-removing Source port: Tested with PrBoom Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys) Contains: Couple of textures, Ultimate Doom music Designed for: Singleplayer only, contains no starts for other game modes Difficulty levels: Yes dawn.zip

DAWN (A Doom II, Limit-Removing Techbase)

Thanks for playing! Yes, the backtracking was definitely a problem during the map's development, but I assumed it wouldn't be very noticeable, since the map is small. I feel like teleporters wouldn't fit in well, I generally don't use teleporters, I just don't like them for some reason.

DAWN (A Doom II, Limit-Removing Techbase)

Oh thank you! I didn't think puzzles would be that big of a deal in this map, especially due to its size, but I get how backtracking can get on your nerves.
  17. This is my second submission. I like the first one better, but what can you do when u no longer have any ideas? Occupies map 7, because i was too lazy to change the music. Name: Arch-Domain Map Slot: 7 Build Time: 10 minutes (maybe a bit less, had nothing more to do in like 5 seconds :p) Difficulty levels: Nope Difficulty: Medium, just dodge stuff and you'll be good lmao arch-domain.zip

DAWN (A Doom II, Limit-Removing Techbase)

Aw thanks! Idk how many maps there are, might be like 8-10 maps (and a lot of unfinished drafts behind the scenes)
  19. Oh boy, oh boy, was this a spicy challenge. I had tried speedmapping in a 15 minute timer before (miserably failed, I was into hellmaps back then). Here, have a crate-filled techbase. Name: Free Shipping Build Time: 10 minutes, (34 seconds owo) Difficulty levels: Absolutely not Crates lazily rotated: No, very time-consuming. Difficulty: EZ, even on UV free_shipping.zip

  22. Today, folks, I present to you one of my most experimental pieces so far. As you may have noticed, STAR textures, METAL1, SPACEW, TEKGREN and BRONZE are nowhere near my mapping vocabulary. So, I decided to make a gimmicky techbase. Progression is a bit obscure is this one, and you have to earn everything you get. It is not as dark and atmospheric as my other maps, that's for sure. --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Doom 2/ Limit-removing Source port: Tested with PrBoom Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys) Contains: Nothing new, except for some TNT music Designed for: Singleplayer only, contains no starts for other game modes Difficulty levels: Yes old_storage_one.zip Screenshots below

Old Storage One (A limit-removing Doom II map)

Thanks for the review! I've actually scrapped a few mapset ideas and it would be fun making one, but I don't think many people would play it, and that's mostly what's stopping me from making a mapset. I don't think I'll be making a mapset any time soon. As for textures, this was actually my first map where I used 100% stock textures, in my previous maps, I used a couple of modified, re-used and custom textures (still very vanilla-looking tho).

  25. Wait, before you read, I guess this map wasn't as bad as I thought and I was overreacting! Forgive me father, for I am about to sin. While I might've done some questionable things here on doomworld, or regrettable things, nothing will I regret more than posting this map here. Hideous, ugly, kind of unfair, so horrible I didn't even bother to name it. For me, going through a mapping block, this has to be a gem. It takes inspiration from a certain TNT map, which, if you're read my previous topic, you will know, you will. Play it or not? I'll just let the screenshots decide for you. --IMPORTANT-ISH-- Format: Doom 2/ Limit-removing Source port: Tested with PrBoom+, Zandronum, GZDoom Crouching: No Jumping: No Freelook: Not an obligation, and not a personal preference (I play with arrow keys) Contains: New original graphics, Ultimate Graphics and Final Doom Graphics, Doom music taken from other stock maps.
