All I want is an actual editor. Not the closed beta we have now. I'd love to see this. It would be a lot of work but I think it'll pay off.

Episode 4 is almost finished. Expect a release tomorrow or at the day after.

NOTE: I recommend playing Doom 32x: Delta by @Roebloz to get a bit of background on this. The original GBA port of Doom used the simplified maps found in the Jaguar port as well as the 32x port. However, the ROM hacks Doom 32x: Delta and its friendly cousin Doom GBA: Delta fixes this by adding the original PC maps back into both ports. This hack uses the optimized Doom 32x: Delta map-set, meaning all maps run and play good. SCREENSHOTS & TRAILER DOWNLOAD: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17hPYhD178elMKfOa-kn2bUZ0XTl07w_J/view?usp=sharing THINGS TO NOTE: Thanks to svKaisers decensoring patch, that means all the red blood and gore are here! Level geometry is kept (mostly) intact from 32x Delta. Texture variety is lowered. This is due to how some new textures can become corrupted when added in the ROM, but I can replace unneeded textures with textures of my liking (i.e replacing Hell textures with tech base textures for episode 1). Music has been reorganized, meaning that each track plays on the right map. Plus I found an unused track, that being Hiding the Secrets. Probably best to play with static lighting. The vanilla maps can chug sometimes with dynamic lighting, so with the more detailed maps in Delta, I'd suggest to play with static lighting. Yes, I am aware about the GBA PrBoom port but I think doing stuff like this is fun. As Roebloz accidentally deleted MAP00 from 32x: Delta episode 2, I made my own map. Barrels of Fun! A shortened version of the is included for the episode 2 patch. BUGS & ISSUES There seems to be a lot of clipping issues in some of the maps. I cannot fix this. CHANGELOG Episode 1 Episode 2 CREDITS Huge credits to Roebloz for Doom 32x: Delta GBA Doom editor by kgsws-CZ (Reuploaded) GBA Doom tools by svKaiser (Reuploaded) SLADE3 by sirjuddington Doom Builder X by anotak Anyways, have fun ;)

What were your first thoughts on the BFG Edition? As well as the XBLA versions of the first two games.

I can send you the GBA deathmatch maps if you want. -
I'd love to see Plutonia! Because I've been thinking of doing a Chex Quest port for the 32x

I'll try to give it a go =)

Made the thread

Hey everyone, Doom GBA: Delta episode three is out! Anyways, this was supposed to be released a few days ago, however, I have been messing with the music order. So yeah, each track now plays on their respective map (I have also updated the other episodes to have the fixed music). Also, there is no Icon of Sin, however, a certain spider is here. No no, not her, but her younger cousin, the Arachnotron. This also means the final battle is different, but that's for you to check out ;) . Anyways, awesome thanks to @Roebloz for his work on Doom 32x: Delta! Here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17hPYhD178elMKfOa-kn2bUZ0XTl07w_J/view?usp=sharing EDIT: I have been thinking about making my own thread for GBA: Delta, should I?

So I have been modding GBA Doom 1, specifically to change music order, and I stumbled across an unused song, that being Hiding the Secrets ironically enough. It sounds quite good compared to some of the other tracks in GBA Doom. And if you want to listen to it yourself, the attached zip contains an ogg file with the track. Hiding the Secrets GBA.zip

Thanks!

How should I go around doing that?
-
I'd say so. Use ObAddon to make it even better

I sometimes just boot up GZDoom to play E2M7 of Ultimate Doom as it's my favourite map

AWESOME!! Funny you released this today as today is my birthday. =)

How? I know @TheLesha was able to disassemble the game but infighting would mean all monster rotation frames were added.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1X7WcyhQyH-4QEsXmDv3TBb98d5TJ4WGI/view?usp=sharing You may need to do a few changes, like changing the Illusions/Barons thing and textures.

Doom GBA: Delta episode 2 is out! No trailer, but I can show some screenshots: I did say I was going to take a small break, but I was like "eh doesn't matter". What made the release super quick was due to me learning what the replace tool is in Doom Builder, so making maps was super easy. Also, as 32x: Delta didn't have an extra map, I made my own, that being a shortened version of Barrels of Fun! Not to mention that the Infernum Lords as well as the Illusions are here as well. Download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17hPYhD178elMKfOa-kn2bUZ0XTl07w_J/view?usp=sharing If there are any issues, please let me know. Have fun =) UPDATE: Just released v1.1 updates to episode 1 and episode 2 to address small issues. Changelog in the readme. UPDATE UPDATE: v1.2 has released for episode 2. Only fixing a tiny texture bug in E2M2.

Doom GBA: Delta episode one is out with a trailer! Here's the download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17hPYhD178elMKfOa-kn2bUZ0XTl07w_J/view?usp=sharing Anyways this is the first release. If there is a mistake in one of the maps or if I overlooked something, please let me know! As for if I'll work on an episode 2, yes I will. But not now probably. But I have been tinkering with the GBA Doom editor and I found that I actually can add new textures without it breaking anything. However I'm still quite limited due to the ROM size but thanks to a tool called XSE, I can increase the ROM size. But I don't know if GBA Doom will be able to handle that big of a wad, so I'm still not sure. If it does work, I may consider doing a redux of episode 1 using this method. Have fun!

Sick. I always liked E3M3

Update on GBA Delta: It's going great! Anyways, I have ported E1M1-E1M5 and I'm starting E1M6 today. If anyone is wondering for a release, I'd say early February the end of this week. For the time being, here's some photos: Edit: Just finished E1M6, 7 , and 8 today, so the release will be much earlier (the end of this week should be the release hopefully). Edit Edit: E1M9 is finished! Based it on the original Jaguar map but changed geometry/textures accordingly. Now all thats needed is polishing.

What 3DS port are you using? I use elhobbs's PrBoom 3DS port and that has music.
