Project Shadowcat replied to Bucket's topic in Doomworld News
Do you always talk like that to other people? -

Go the fuck away. I don't know why the hell you've not been Losered by now. And I refuse your apology. You've gone too far. -
There's Something About Tails
Project Shadowcat replied to Blastfrog's topic in WAD Releases & Development
There was absolutely nothing knightly about it. He might have seen it as a project getting constantly held back by its own creator, when quite simply, I couldn't work on it due to a godawful large number of horribly disruptive things going on in real life. Too many things changed or were added during its lifetime with Soda on board as a team member without my permission, and while a few of these items will be kept (and his name kept in the credits), he didn't ask me about much of anything. I couldn't keep my leash on him because he kept wanting to do his own thing. Hell, he did a lot of things I explicitly told him not to. Like making a topic here on DoomWorld in the first place. Or over-hyping the project. The thing has had a long history of hiatus upon hiatus. I'd prefer if this topic was dead and buried, and that I can work much more quietly. -

So what the fuck kind of pleasure do you get out of this? Do you like to see me angry or something? Is that it? -

You fucking asshole, Soda. That was not cool. -

I totally understand.

I am confirming their submission. The console and switch patches are created straight from scratch in Paint.NET. Sodahollic actually redid the FLAT10 flat, which needed it to be honest.

Hi, Remiel. Came out to bash me some more, did you?
-
I swear that Remiel or whatever the fuck his name is has it out for me*. A little more constructive critique on how to make it more fun, besides changing the sky or the music (the music even documented in the TXT to IDMUS05), would have been quite a bit more desired for my first (public) solo effort. :/ * = He's harassed me a great deal on ZDoom for years past.

...Can we just play Doom, guys?
-
Odd, I didn't get that chaingun bug like you were describing, Scuba Steve. Then again I used the engine provided... The Centaur map was indeed a bit annoying for me as well, I actually didn't go for 100% kill in that, just much more concerned in my survival than anything. Definitely looked great though. I honestly liked the way the colors were used; the Colormap hackery was brilliant, letting those beady blue eyes or the bright yellow lights shine through the darkness like that. Great, great stuff.

Another needless fight in what was supposed to be about a really nice project. I could see some extra levels getting added on for this in the future; I just reached MAP05 and I'm having a ball with it.

Sonic Robo Blast 2 Version 2.0 Released
Project Shadowcat replied to Shadow Hog's topic in Doomworld News
I noticed a lot of HOM errors in many of the very open locations, such as the large lake in Greenflower 2, so I'm not sure if they switched node-builders or what. At least it plays fine, even if the controls are a little more slippery on this version. Glad to see more new zones. It certainly shows that the mappers have been working hard. -
Nearly 2/3 in taxes! (Lottery winner)
Project Shadowcat replied to Hellbent's topic in Everything Else
Since you put it that way... Anyway, regarding udderdude's War Games quote, it's not like you're wasting a ton of money if you just get a ticket once a drawing. What, you lose out on a steak dinner a month? :) And with some lotteries, some of that money goes to other systems, such as in Colorado it's for "parks and recreation". ... That's what PowerBall says, anyway. -
Assembled Lifesize RX78 Gundam, oh gawd
Project Shadowcat replied to SyntherAugustus's topic in Everything Else
And that doesn't make it any less kick-ass. -
Nearly 2/3 in taxes! (Lottery winner)
Project Shadowcat replied to Hellbent's topic in Everything Else
Yeah... it doesn't work that way. You're still going to get the same amount. However, on the even more remote chance that someone else strikes the same jackpot, he'd get 2/3 of the lump sum instead of 1/2. The "sucker" who also hit it would only get 1/3. -
I think I recall saying something nasty about DoomWorld once before, just because I had set myself up for the worst first impression (it was nothing to do with the administration). So, I hadn't said much beyond a few reviews for years. After seeing this happen, I so take everything back and will definitely try not to take things like a good administration for granted. Maybe I'll be a bit more active here. The MFZ sucks right now and I promise not to bring anyone from there with me.

Pulled this from another forum. I thought I'd bring the word over here. Do note that this is the same drive that Randy Heit was also using for a little while. Otherwise I have no comment.

Hey, I'm just glad something's going right for once. Shame about the unfortunate Diaz review, though, I thought it was great fun.
-
OMG, no bitchings about me reviewing a DM WAD this newstuff. Happy day.
-
Those same 8 teleports don't exactly open fast in a firefight. However I do understand what you mean when trying to lose pursuers. I can't get all the details in a review, can I?

Respectfully doesn't necessarily mean sugar-coat.
