  1. Creating separate patches is kind of inarguably the correct way to edit mapsets and such. Inaccurate wads have the potential to desync demos and multiplayer games. It's just better to keep your wads the same as you got them.

      Thanks, I hope my work inspires some people to make their own. In a few days I'm going on a internet hiatus for a good few months, ideally widescreen assets will have become a standard by then :)

    If it's not already being considered, any chance for flick stick being natively implemented? Something along the lines of the unity port's weapon carousel would be nice for gamepad viability as well.

    Really? I must have assumed so because of the SSes in the BFG Edition of doom2.wad being replaced with zombiemen.

    Icon of Sin is the clear correct answer. Not sure SS counts as he's just a reskin. All of the main roster monsters are pretty great, albeit with a few subjective issues like the arachnotron/mancubus oversized collision box or revenants shooting you after you punch them. skill issue

    That's odd, I tested it in dsda-doom and it worked fine. I'll try to check later this day with different ports/aspect ratios. EDIT: To no one's surprise, this only appears to be in issue with GZDoom. I'm not going to bother making a GZDoom version as there's not much point to using SIGIL_COMPAT in GZDoom anyways.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I'm interested to see that Aliens TC is mentioned multiple times, I wasn't too much of a fan when I tried it. Do people enjoy it due to it's historical significance or is there something I'm missing?
