Born and raised in Upstate New York and still live there! However, I'm zoomer doomer and only got into the game when the pandemic started.

Same problem with exclusive fullscreen.

I'm noticing an issue with OpenGL+Vsync, it gets really choppy (almost like the frame interpolation is acting up). If I turn Vsync off then it works fine, except for lots of tearing. This issue doesn't happen in software or prboom+. If it helps I'm on Arch Linux with an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. EDIT: Also changing the light modes doesn't fix anything.

This my first actual attempt at doom mapping. I think it turned out pretty good, feedback would be appreciated. Map info: - Port's tested: PrBoom+ - IWAD: DOOM II - Number of maps: 1 - Custom textures: no - Custom music: no It is a fairly easy and short map. I played Scythe, and I'm fairly certain I got to MAP30. But I couldn't beat it (big suprise). I forgot to mention that one in my original post. I've been working my way through AV, its a good time. It feels kind of a similar style in terms of visual design to P:AR. This thread really exploded!

I'm really enjoying AV right now (currently on MAP07)! I'll probably play Eviternity once I finish this one. Thanks again for all the feedback you guys gave, there are just so many great mods for DOOM and its really hard picking one to play and finish.

Thanks! I'll be sure to check out the other WADs on the list. I should mention that I have been binging Dean of Doom on YouTube. That's where I got the ideas for the next WAD to play.

I just finished playing The Plutonia Experiment, and TNT: Evilution and enjoyed both of them a ton (I also played Ultimate DOOM and DOOM II). The only two mods I've finished are Phobos: Anomaly Reborn and UAC Ultra. Now I'm wondering do I play Valiant or Eviternity first? Any input would be appreciated :D. BTW this is my first Doomworld post, I made an account to ask this question.
