    I haven't seen anyone stress test the games enemy counts yet but @ShadesMaster has been working on a dead simple port, and someone has ported e1m1 from quake

    one thing I hope is either addressed by id or eternals modding community themselves but I really hope the mod injector gets updated to work with the newer update. having to log in for this games new modding is a detriment for wanting to just play the game if you don't have internet, had an internet short out last night. having the mod injector as an offline backup for loading the game in with mods is definitely something they should consider and not put all they're eggs in 1 basket.

    I will always miss that old hud, I like the release version just fine but man that hud will be missed until its brought back with modding and I agree that demo will always hit different! they where exciting times

    Classic Doom - New Update on Steam

    this port isn't perfect but I enjoy it mainly for an easy option for setting up multiplayer, vsync makes the mouse feel floaty but thankfully that can be turned off of course, had to add a few things in the launch options cause for some reason the port had frame stuttering issue for me but thankfully I found a fix. only thing I wish they added was maybe coop arrows or an option for that so your partner doesn't get lost, but at they show up on the map so my mates don't loose interest like they did with quake 1

    yeah I feel like people always shit on controller for fps games, and while yes its not as graceful as a mouse, give controllers the best settings for a game and you can do a great many things still, tight and small deadzones, no aim acceleration for a steady aim, circular aiming instead of a cross shaped deadzone for a smoother feel, bullet magmatism and of course sticky aim can make an fps game feel just fine on controller. theres other vids out there that go into deadzones for controllers with more depth if your ever interested in learning more about it bro

    would be easier if this rereleases deadzones weren't so big, and if it had more modern, circular aim over the old cross styled aiming, aim acceleration settings would also be good, I hope they give players options for that

    really loving this rerelease, but for the console peeps out there I hope they add deadzone and aim acceleration options, tried this port out on my old xbone and while its fun, that aiming is a bit stiff haha, you get used to it but man its a bit rough, hopefully they might do something about that
