Look at my post history. I was here and active two years ago, and a bit one year ago. Haven't logged on in months, and given my knowledge of DOOM goes as far as level 3 of the original game, which I was borrowing on steam and don't have now, I doubt I will be here. But thanks for your reply.

Countries, Peoples and Geography discussion

I guess so, but I wish it was possible to have that identity without it being used as a weapon against you by people on the far left or right of the political sphere as well as warlord-like politicians. It would be nice if you could choose whether or not you would identify strongly with a culture rather than be forced into it. -

Who are motorcycle riders here and how much cc engine do you ride?
MortarCasualty replied to Blackroat's topic in Everything Else
Haven't ridden a bike since I was 10 in 2010. But my neighbour used to ride his motorcycle for his courier job. -
Your opinion on nuclear power?
MortarCasualty replied to MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai's topic in Everything Else
It's expensive to manufacture and run the machines for any energy source, ironically, even clean ones like windpower, those turbines take oil to build! So the goal is to go with something stable that eats resources slowly and lasts. Geothermal energy is okay at this but nuclear is hands-down winner. The best thing would be to build plants in fairly isolated areas, the distance cost is worth the risk mitigation. -

I was born in Canada just in time to get my citizenship, as my parents flew over from Romania with my mother pregnant with me. I don't identify too heavily with either Romania (or Poland), or with Canada, though. I like studying geography in different contexts because I find groups of things interesting and that's especially true with people and behaviour. Well, but to quote John Lennon, "Imagine if there were no countries, and no religion too. Nothing to die or kill for..." -

Most and Least Favorite Twitch Streamer

This. My least favourite is Wizard Yensid because he banned me from his discord for daring to question his odd and tangly rules. -
"Gooood ideaaa".

"I'm not a spaceman!!!" "What, do you think we have any control over it? I've never heard of any of this stuff".
-
(imagine our collective surprises) "You sound like a crazy man rambling. You have no idea what's going on what you're talking about, do you? A relaxing afternoon on a backyard porch turned into a doomsday scenario? This sounds like a load of hodgepodge".

"Oh please, not like we were anything better before. You're just sick of moving around, I love it!"

"ohhh I'm just as old as he is! We're the same age! I just stopped growing physically. I'm his bad side and his missing side, the part of him that should be there but isn't! Don't you worry about me! I can join anything. Angels, dragons, skeleton demon things! All Order wants is to forget I exist, but I'm always going to be a part of him, just like your apparent fear of these angels is always going to be a part of your memories, haha!" Order whispers something under his breath. "No, I'm not gonna shut up, big bro. You know I'm right. You can't trust these people, they're going and calling us monsters before even knowing who we are!" points at the group of you "You summoned us here with this natural revival and rebirth portal! I think you guys owe us an explanation! We were in a completely different universe on another dimension and then you just drew us in! You don't even know what kind of curse we're under, or what we're dealing with!"
